I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.

‘ I know what you are doing. I know your love and your faith. I know how well you have served. I know you don’t give up easily. In fact, you are doing more now than you did at first.

“‘ I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first.

“ I know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all these things.

I know your works— your love, faithfulness, service, and endurance. I know that your last works are greater than the first.

I know thy works, and thy toil and patience, and that thou canst not bear evil men, and didst try them that call themselves apostles, and they are not, and didst find them false;and thou hast patience and didst bear for my name’s sake, and hast not grown weary.But I have this against thee, that thou didst leave thy first love.

We are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, even as it is meet, for that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the love of each one of you all toward one another aboundeth;

and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit, he taketh it away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he cleanseth it, that it may bear more fruit.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

But when Timothy came even now unto us from you, and brought us glad tidings of your faith and love, and that ye have good remembrance of us always, longing to see us, even as we also to see you;

above all things being fervent in your love among yourselves; for love covereth a multitude of sins:

and above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away.

They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and green:

Yet shall the righteous hold on his way, And he that hath clean hands shall wax stronger and stronger.

I know where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s throne is; and thou holdest fast my name, and didst not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwelleth.

But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty( but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
