And you will be hated by everyone because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

‘ I know your tribulation and your poverty( but you are rich), and the slander by those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

But the one who endures to the end is the one who will be saved.

“ Please put your servants to the test for ten days, and let us be given some vegetables to eat and water to drink.

So he listened to them in this matter, and put them to the test for ten days.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.

And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,“ Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Then Paul replied,“ What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause all who do not worship the image of the beast to be killed.And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,and he decrees that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.

And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

“ But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, turning you over to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors on account of My name.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

The one who loves his life loses it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority was given to him over every tribe, people, language, and nation.

In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which perishes though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

“ Now I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed someone, has the power to throw that person into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!Are five sparrows not sold for two assaria? And yet not one of them has gone unnoticed in the sight of God.But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not fear; you are more valuable than a great number of sparrows.

And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne, and great authority.

After this, Satan then entered him. Therefore Jesus* said to him,“ What you are doing, do it quickly.”

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

And during supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him,

in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of God’s grace.

Everyone who competes in the games exercises self control in all things. So they do it to obtain a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hurries toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed nego replied to the king,“ Nebuchadnezzar, we are not in need of an answer to give you concerning this matter.If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will rescue us from your hand, O king.But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods nor worship the golden statue that you have set up.”
