爾其寓書於依弗所教會之守護天神曰：彼右手握有七星，而徘徊於七金燈之間者有所曉論於爾：

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

“ Here is what I command you to write to the church in Ephesus. Here are the words of Jesus, who holds the seven stars in his right hand. He also walks among the seven golden lampstands. He says,

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:‘ The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands.

“ Write this letter to the angel of the church in Ephesus. This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands:

“ To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:

他右手拿着七星，从他口中出来一把两刃的利剑；面貌如同烈日放光。

论到你所看见、在我右手中的七星和七个金灯台的奥秘，那七星就是七个教会的使者，七灯台就是七个教会。”

“你所看见的当写在书上，达与以弗所、士每拿、别迦摩、推雅推喇、撒狄、非拉铁非、老底嘉那七个教会。”我转过身来，要看是谁发声与我说话；既转过来，就看见七个金灯台。灯台中间有一位好像人子，身穿长衣，直垂到脚，胸间束着金带。

“你要写信给撒狄教会的使者，说：‘那有神的七灵和七星的，说：我知道你的行为，按名你是活的，其实是死的。

“你要写信给别迦摩教会的使者，说：‘那有两刃利剑的，说：

“你要写信给非拉铁非教会的使者，说：‘那圣洁、真实、拿着大卫的钥匙、开了就没有人能关、关了就没有人能开的，说：

“你要写信给推雅推喇教会的使者，说：‘那眼目如火焰、脚像光明铜的神之子说：

“你要写信给老底嘉教会的使者，说：‘那为阿们的，为诚信真实见证的，在神创造万物之上为元首的，说：

“你要写信给士每拿教会的使者，说：‘那首先的、末后的、死过又活的，说：

因为无论在哪里，有两三个人奉我的名聚会，那里就有我在他们中间。”

凡我所吩咐你们的，都教训他们遵守，我就常与你们同在，直到世界的末了。”

第三位天使吹号，就有烧着的大星，好像火把从天上落下来，落在江河的三分之一和众水的泉源上。这星名叫“茵陈”。众水的三分之一变为茵陈，因水变苦，就死了许多人。第四位天使吹号，日头的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被击打，以致日月星的三分之一黑暗了，白昼的三分之一没有光，黑夜也是这样。

你曾在伊甸神的园中，佩戴各样宝石，就是红宝石、红璧玺、金钢石、水苍玉、红玛瑙、碧玉、蓝宝石、绿宝石、红玉，和黄金；又有精美的鼓笛在你那里，都是在你受造之日预备齐全的。你是那受膏遮掩约柜的基路伯；我将你安置在神的圣山上；你在发光如火的宝石中间往来。

天上现出大异象来：有一个妇人身披日头，脚踏月亮，头戴十二星的冠冕。

约翰是点着的明灯，你们情愿暂时喜欢他的光。
