我使你身穿刺繡的衣裳，腳穿海狗皮鞋；用細麻布給你裹頭；又用絲綢給你披在身上。

他的衣服閃耀發光，極其潔白，地上漂布的沒有能漂得這樣白的。

為的是要用水藉著道把教會洗淨，成為聖潔，可以作榮耀的教會歸給自己，甚麼污點皺紋等也沒有，而是聖潔沒有瑕疵的。

就是神的義，因著信耶穌基督，毫無區別地臨到所有信的人。

總要披戴主耶穌基督，不要為肉體安排，去放縱私慾。

她們正為此事猜疑的時候，忽然有兩個人，穿著閃爍耀目的衣服，站在她們旁邊。

願你的祭司都披上公義，願你的聖民都歡呼。

就對他說：‘朋友，你沒有婚筵的禮服，怎能進到這裡來呢？’他就無話可說。

耶穌在他們面前改變了形象，臉好像太陽一樣照耀，衣服潔白像光。

主啊！誰敢不敬畏你，不榮耀你的名呢？因為只有你是神聖的，萬國都要來，在你面前下拜，因為你公義的作為已經顯明出來了。”

我勸你向我買精煉的金子，使你富足；又買白衣穿上，使你赤身的羞恥不會顯露出來；也買眼藥膏抹你的眼睛，使你可以看見。
