Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

Let us be joyful and glad! Let us give him glory! It is time for the Lamb’s wedding. His bride has made herself ready.

Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;

我若望親睹聖邑新耶路撒冷發自天主、降自雲間、儼若新人、凝粧而待其夫壻。

『天國譬諸君王為其子設婚筵；

上述七天神、攜有滿貯七災之七爵者、其中一神來語予曰：「偕予行、予欲示爾以新婦、即羔羊之良配也。」

夫人娶婦而為新壻、新壻之友立而待之、聞其音則洋洋而喜。今者吾樂之沛然充溢、亦復如是。

蓋我為天主之故、熱中於爾、甚至有患得患失之情緒。吾既將爾許配良人、固願爾好自保持貞節、克配基督。

有天神語予曰：「筆之於書：凡被邀參與羔羊之婚筵者、福莫大焉。」復告予曰「此實為天主之言。」

此中有極大之玄妙存焉、蓋所以象徵基督與教會之關係。

蓋夫為妻之乾綱、亦如基督之為教會乾綱、而覆育全身也。

『是時、天國將如童女十人、各持一燈、出迎新壻。其中愚者五人、智者亦五人。愚者持燈、而無餘油；智者攜燈、而又貯油於壺。新壻稽遲、皆假寐而寢。子夜忽有聲呼曰：「新壻來矣其出迎之！」眾女乃起而整燈。愚者謂智者曰：「請予我以油；吾燈垂滅。」智者對曰：「共用恐將不給、盍就市購之。」方往沽、而新壻至矣。有備者偕入、同赴婚筵、戶遂扃。

赫奕眾女中。有女出天潢。王后佩金飾。亭亭玉座傍。娟娟彼姝子。諦聽且思量。爾民與爾家。爾宜長相忘。王慕爾麗容。王為爾乾綱。小心事夫子。夙夜莫敢遑。諦羅諸淑女。嘉獻會成行。諦羅諸富人。咸求爾包荒。王女在宮中。榮華無與方。金線耀朝日。錦衣而繡裳。招展來王前。環珮鏘琳琅。眾媵隨其後。諸嬪亦相將。歡欣溢眉宇。踴躍入宮牆。

一如僕人延佇其主之歸自婚筵。至而叩門、立為之啟。

大地歡騰。咸誦主恩。何以事主。和樂且湛。何以承顏。響遏行雲。

嗟我良朋。盍興乎來。向主獻歌。歌聲和諧。惟我恩主。為我磐石。何以朝覲。心懷大德。詠詩頌美。抒我怡悅。偉哉造物。百神之君。

願將爾聖名。傳之於八極。聖名之所至。頌聲亦洋溢。主之大手臂。舉措皆正直。

賢者覩此。相顧怡悅。不肖覩此。相顧結舌。

雅瑋憐我苦。拯吾出兇門。

吾人苟能以天主之精神、昭事天主、一心以基督耶穌為榮、而不恃形體、斯則真受割禮矣。
