After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out,“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,

Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God,and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind:the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight.And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,“ Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever,the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting!” Then all the people said,“ Amen!” and praised the Lord.

And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God, and all the people answered,“ Amen, Amen,” lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.

Otherwise, if you give thanks with your spirit, how can anyone in the position of an outsider say“ Amen” to your thanksgiving when he does not know what you are saying?

I also shook out the fold of my garment and said,“ So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said“ Amen” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever,

Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,
