以其鞫真且義也、蓋曾鞫以淫污世之大妓、且於彼身伸其諸僕流血之冤、

上帝鞫人、維公維正、大淫婦以淫亂誘天下、流上帝僕之血、故上帝罪之、為伸其冤、

其審判惟真與公、已審判淫亂敗世之大淫婦、彼流天主僕人之血、今天主報之、為僕人伸冤、

for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

大聲而呼曰：「嗟夫、神聖、真實、至高無上之主、爾審判天下、伸吾儕流血之冤、將待何時？」

嗟爾天廷諸聖、宗徒、先知、今宜懽忻而鼓舞。蓋天主已予以審判、以伸爾之義矣。

合奏其忠僕摩西之歌、及羔羊之歌曰：主天主兮全能、大且奇兮經綸。爾為君兮萬世、惟爾道兮仁且真。

玉律豈有瑕。祇守心自怡。聖典何皎潔。悅目驚新奇。

天神又語予曰：「爾所見大娼坐鎮之諸川、乃列國、兆民、萬族、重譯也。爾所見之十角及獸、終必痛恨大娼、褫其衣而裸之、且吞食其肉、而付諸一焚。

煜煜燈燭光、不復照此邑；無復新婚者、在此敘歡密；祇緣諸偉人、與爾相貿易；巫術惑元元、忍心殺先哲；天民及眾庶、冤血化成碧！

吾聞掌水之天神曰「永生之神聖者乎爾之施罰義也。若輩既流先知眾聖之血、則爾飲之以血、不亦宜乎。」又聞祭壇發言曰：「誠哉言也！主天主、全能者乎、爾之睿斷、既明且公。」

爾時七持爵天神之一、來與予語曰：「來、吾欲示以大娼之處決；大娼者、即坐於諸川之上、與世間百王行淫、而使舉世之人沈湎於其淫亂之酒者也。」

世之百王與之共淫、而同享侈泰者、必將目擊其火焰、而號咷大哭；懼其禍之及身、乃遙立而言曰：「哀哉哀哉！大邑巴比倫也！巍巍王城胡為而至斯極耶！頃刻之間、爾竟遭受審判耶！」

祇緣酖彼荒淫酒、列國遭譴悉紛崩；百王受狐惑、頹然與之淫；眾賈沾餘瀝、奢侈醉其心。
