以其鞫真且義也、蓋曾鞫以淫污世之大妓、且於彼身伸其諸僕流血之冤、

上帝鞫人、維公維正、大淫婦以淫亂誘天下、流上帝僕之血、故上帝罪之、為伸其冤、

其審判惟真與公、已審判淫亂敗世之大淫婦、彼流天主僕人之血、今天主報之、為僕人伸冤、

天主黜陟幽明、聰明、正直、已予熒惑全世之大娼以判決、而伸其忠僕流血之冤！」

for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”

「列邦啊，你們當與祂的子民一同歡樂！因為祂要為自己的僕人報血仇，報應祂的仇敵，潔淨祂的土地和子民。」

他們大聲喊著說：「聖潔真實的主宰啊，還要等多久呢？為什麼你還不審判地上那些屠殺我們的人，為我們伸冤呢？」

上天啊，眾聖徒、眾使徒和眾先知啊，為她的下場歡樂吧！因為上帝已經向她施行報應，為你們伸冤了。」

口裡唱著上帝的奴僕摩西的歌和羔羊的歌：「全能的主上帝啊，你的作為偉大奇妙！萬國的王啊，你的道路公義真實！

要以純潔的心敬畏耶和華，直到永遠；耶和華的法令可靠，全然公義。

天使又對我說：「你看見的那淫婦所坐的眾水象徵來自各民族、各國家、各語言族群的人。怪獸和牠頭上的十角必憎恨那淫婦，使她赤身露體、景況淒涼。牠們要吃她的肉，最後用火將她燒盡。

再也看不到閃耀的燈光了，再也聽不見新婚夫婦的歡笑聲了。因為你的商人曾經趾高氣揚，你的邪術曾經迷惑萬國，你的城牆內流滿了眾先知、眾聖徒和地上一切被殺之人的血。」

我聽見掌管各水源的天使說：「昔在今在的聖者啊！你是公義的，因為你施行了審判。由於他們流了眾聖徒和先知們的血，現在你使他們喝血，這正是他們應得的報應。」我又聽見從祭壇發出的聲音說：「是的，全能的主上帝，你的判決真實公義。」

拿著七碗的七位天使中有一位前來對我說：「你過來！我要讓你看那坐在眾水之上的大淫婦將要遭受的刑罰。地上的君王與她行淫，地上其他人也因喝了她淫亂的酒而酩酊大醉。」

耶和華啊！你是我的上帝，我要尊崇你，讚美你的名。你信實無比，按你古時定下的計劃行了奇妙的事。

「那些曾與她通姦享樂的君王目睹焚燒她的煙，必為她哭泣哀號。他們對她所受的災禍充滿恐懼，就遠遠地站著說，『強大堅固的巴比倫城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！因為審判頃刻間臨到你了。』

因為列國都被她荒淫的烈酒灌醉了。地上的君王曾經與她通姦，地上的商人也因她窮奢極侈的生活而發了財。」

伸冤在我，我必報應，到時候他們必站不住腳，他們遭禍的日子近了，他們的末日來了。』

你要殺你主人亞哈的全家，這樣我就可以為我的僕人——眾先知以及其他僕人報仇，他們被耶洗別殺害。

「祂是磐石，祂的作為完美，祂按公義行事，祂信實可靠，公平正直。
