I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.

before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.

The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! Selah

He is first, by translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then he is also king of Salem, that is, king of peace.

Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice.

The King in his might loves justice. You have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.

And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying,“ Great and amazing are your deeds, O Lord God the Almighty! Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations!Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.”After this I looked, and the sanctuary of the tent of witness in heaven was opened,and out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests.And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever,

and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood

Who is this who comes from Edom, in crimsoned garments from Bozrah, he who is splendid in his apparel, marching in the greatness of his strength?“ It is I, speaking in righteousness, mighty to save.”Why is your apparel red, and your garments like his who treads in the winepress?“ I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples no one was with me; I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; their lifeblood spattered on my garments, and stained all my apparel.For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and my year of redemption had come.I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled, but there was no one to uphold; so my own arm brought me salvation, and my wrath upheld me.

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.
