他用強有力的聲音呼喊說：「倒塌了！大巴比倫倒塌了！她成了鬼魔居住的地方、一切汙靈的巢穴、一切汙穢鳥類的巢穴、一切汙穢可憎野獸的巢穴。

大聲呼曰、傾矣乎、傾矣乎、大巴比倫也、成為羣魔之居所、及凡邪鬼與污鳥可憎者之囹圄、

大聲呼曰、巴比倫大邑、其傾圮乎、其傾圮乎、今為鬼所居、及一切邪神不潔可憎之鳥樊籠、

大聲呼曰、巴比倫大邑、傾矣、傾矣、今為鬼魔居處、並為諸邪神邪神或作不潔之神及諸不潔可憎之鳥所棲、

大聲而呼曰：傾矣乎！傾矣乎！巍巍巴比倫！昔為大都邑、今成魑魅村；邪神聚幽藪、惡鳥集荒榛。

With a mighty voice he shouted:“‘ Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.

She has become a place where every‘ unclean’ bird is found. She has become a place where every‘ unclean’ and hated animal is found.

And he called out with a mighty voice,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.

He gave a mighty shout:“ Babylon is fallen— that great city is fallen! She has become a home for demons. She is a hideout for every foul spirit, a hideout for every foul vulture and every foul and dreadful animal.

He called out in a mighty voice: It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a home for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, and a haunt for every unclean and despicable beast.

And he cried out with a mighty voice, saying,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird.

And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying,“ Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

He shouted with a powerful voice:“ Fallen, fallen, is Babylon the great! She has become a lair for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detested beast.

Another, a second angel, followed, saying,“ Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”

Babylon will become heaps, a dwelling place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.

Therefore the wild animals of the desert with the wolves will dwell there. The ostriches will dwell therein; and it will be inhabited no more forever; neither will it be lived in from generation to generation.As when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and its neighbor cities,” says Yahweh,“ so no man will dwell there, neither will any son of man live therein.

Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed! Wail for her! Take balm for her pain. Perhaps she may be healed.

Herds will lie down in the middle of her, all the animals of the nations. Both the pelican and the porcupine will lodge in its capitals. Their calls will echo through the windows. Desolation will be in the thresholds, for he has laid bare the cedar beams.

Yahweh will roar from Zion, and thunder from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth will shake; but Yahweh will be a refuge to his people, and a stronghold to the children of Israel.

He lived in the tombs. Nobody could bind him any more, not even with chains,because he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the fetters broken in pieces. Nobody had the strength to tame him.Always, night and day, in the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out, and cutting himself with stones.

And on her forehead a name was written,“ MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, will be like when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.It will never be inhabited, neither will it be lived in from generation to generation. The Arabian will not pitch a tent there, neither will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.But wild animals of the desert will lie there, and their houses will be full of jackals. Ostriches will dwell there, and wild goats will frolic there.Wolves will cry in their fortresses, and jackals in the pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, and her days will not be prolonged.

A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying,“ Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.

But the pelican and the porcupine will possess it. The owl and the raven will dwell in it. He will stretch the line of confusion over it, and the plumb line of emptiness.They shall call its nobles to the kingdom, but none shall be there; and all its princes shall be nothing.Thorns will come up in its palaces, nettles and thistles in its fortresses; and it will be a habitation of jackals, a court for ostriches.The wild animals of the desert will meet with the wolves, and the wild goat will cry to his fellow. Yes, the night creature shall settle there, and shall find herself a place of rest.The arrow snake will make her nest there, and lay, hatch, and gather under her shade. Yes, the kites will be gathered there, every one with her mate.

Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come on Babylon, even all these words that are written concerning Babylon.Jeremiah said to Seraiah,“ When you come to Babylon, then see that you read all these words,and say,‘ Yahweh, you have spoken concerning this place, to cut it off, that no one will dwell in it, neither man nor animal, but that it will be desolate forever.’It will be, when you have finished reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the middle of the Euphrates.Then you shall say,‘ Thus will Babylon sink, and will not rise again because of the evil that I will bring on her; and they will be weary.’” Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs;

Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud,“ Send your sickle, and reap; for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!”

The woman whom you saw is the great city, which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

When Jesus stepped ashore, a certain man out of the city who had demons for a long time met him. He wore no clothes, and didn’t live in a house, but in the tombs.When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said,“ What do I have to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don’t torment me!”

He cried with a loud voice, as a lion roars. When he cried, the seven thunders uttered their voices.

standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying,‘ Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’

His feet were like burnished brass, as if it had been refined in a furnace. His voice was like the voice of many waters.

“ I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water. I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says Yahweh of Armies.

The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

“ Therefore prophesy against them all these words, and tell them,“‘ Yahweh will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation. He will mightily roar against his fold. He will give a shout, as those who tread grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.

He cried like a lion:“ Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime, and every night I stay at my post.Behold, here comes a troop of men, horsemen in pairs.” He answered,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the engraved images of her gods are broken to the ground.

I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice,“ Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”

“‘ You shall detest these among the birds; they shall not be eaten because they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,the red kite, any kind of black kite,any kind of raven,the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,the little owl, the cormorant, the great owl,the white owl, the desert owl, the osprey,the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe, and the bat.
