When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim,‘ Was there ever a city like this great city?’

看見她被焚燒的煙就喊着說：『哪一個城能比得過那大城呢？』

他們看著焚燒她時的煙，呼喊說：「哪一個城能與這大城相比呢？」

見所焚之煙、皆遠立、呼曰、孰若此大邑乎、

見厥火炎炎、呼曰、誰能與大邑比儗乎、

見焚彼之煙、呼曰、何邑能比此大邑乎、

共對大火而驚呼曰：「天下萬城、誰堪比之。」

They will see the smoke rising as Babylon burns. They will ask,‘ Was there ever a city like this great city?’

and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning,“ What city was like the great city?”

They will cry out as they watch the smoke ascend, and they will say,“ Where is there another city as great as this?”

as they watched the smoke from her burning and kept crying out,“ Who was like the great city?”

and were crying out as they saw the smoke of her burning, saying,‘ What city is like the great city?’

and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying,‘ What is like this great city?’

and cried out as they looked upon the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like the great city?

as they watched the smoke from her burning and kept crying out:“ Who is like the great city?”

And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What[ city is] like unto this great city!

and began to shout when they saw the smoke from the fire that burned her up,“ Who is like the great city?”

and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying,‘ What is like the great city?’

People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked,“ Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

“ When the kings of the earth who committed adultery with her and shared her luxury see the smoke of her burning, they will weep and mourn over her.Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:“‘ Woe! Woe to you, great city, you mighty city of Babylon! In one hour your doom has come!’

They will raise their voice and cry bitterly over you; they will sprinkle dust on their heads and roll in ashes.They will shave their heads because of you and will put on sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and with bitter mourning.As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you:“ Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?”

Babylon will be a heap of ruins, a haunt of jackals, an object of horror and scorn, a place where no one lives.

Who planned this against Tyre, the bestower of crowns, whose merchants are princes, whose traders are renowned in the earth?The Lord Almighty planned it, to bring down her pride in all her splendor and to humble all who are renowned on the earth.
