Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着说：“哀哉！哀哉！巴比伦大城，坚固的城啊，一时之间你的刑罚就来到了。”

因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着，说：“祸哉，祸哉，这大城！坚固的巴比伦城啊！一时之间，你的审判要来到了。”

他们对她所受的灾祸充满恐惧，就远远地站着说，“‘强大坚固的巴比伦城啊，真悲惨！真悲惨！因为审判顷刻间临到你了。’

他们因为害怕她所受的痛苦，就远远地站着，说：‘有祸了！有祸了！这大城，巴比伦，这坚固的城啊！一时之间你的审判就来到了！’

他们因惧怕她所受的折磨，就远远地站着，说：“有祸了！有祸了！宏大的城，强大的巴比伦城啊！因为一时之间，你的审判就来到了！”

因怕她的痛苦，就遠遠地站着說：哀哉！哀哉！巴比倫大城，堅固的城啊，一時之間你的刑罰就來到了。

因怕她的痛苦，就遠遠地站着，說：「禍哉，禍哉，這大城！堅固的巴比倫城啊！一時之間，你的審判要來到了。」

因怕她的痛苦，就遠遠地站着，說：「禍哉，禍哉，這大城！堅固的巴比倫城啊！一時之間，你的審判要來到了。」

他們對她所受的災禍充滿恐懼，就遠遠地站著說，『強大堅固的巴比倫城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！因為審判頃刻間臨到你了。』

他們因為害怕她所受的痛苦，就遠遠地站著，說：‘有禍了！有禍了！這大城，巴比倫，這堅固的城啊！一時之間你的審判就來到了！’

因怕她的苦痛、都必在遠處站着說：『有禍啊！有禍啊！大城巴比倫！大有勢力的城啊，一時之間你受判罰的時候到了！』

他們因懼怕她所受的折磨，就遠遠地站著，說：「有禍了！有禍了！宏大的城，強大的巴比倫城啊！因為一時之間，你的審判就來到了！」

因其痛苦而懼、則遠立曰、禍哉、禍哉、大巴比倫鞏固之邑乎、半時間爾之鞫至矣、

懼害及身、遙立云巴比倫大邑、素稱鞏固、一時刑至、哀哉、

因懼其苦而遠立、云、廣大鞏固之邑巴比倫、頃刻間爾之刑至矣、哀哉、哀哉、

懼其禍之及身、乃遙立而言曰：「哀哉哀哉！大邑巴比倫也！巍巍王城胡為而至斯極耶！頃刻之間、爾竟遭受審判耶！」

Terrified at her torment, they will stand far off and cry:“‘ Woe! Woe to you, great city, you mighty city of Babylon! In one hour your doom has come!’

They will be terrified by her suffering. They will stand far away from her. And they will cry out,“‘ How terrible! How terrible it is for you, great city! How terrible for you, mighty city of Babylon! In just one hour you have been destroyed!’

They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say,“ Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come.”

They will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will cry out,“ How terrible, how terrible for you, O Babylon, you great city! In a single moment God’s judgment came on you.”

They will stand far off in fear of her torment, saying, Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city! For in a single hour your judgment has come.

They will stand far off in fear of her torment, saying: Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the mighty city! For in a single hour your judgment has come.

They will stand a long way off because they are afraid of her torment, and will say,“ Woe, woe, O great city, Babylon the powerful city! For in a single hour your doom has come!”

And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong[ is] the Lord God who judgeth her.

And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men,[ with] a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing[ shall be] in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.

Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up[ even] to the skies.

Alas! for that day[ is] great, so that none[ is] like it: it[ is] even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD[ is] at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

And all Israel that[ were] round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up[ also].
