“ So when you see the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place”( let the reader understand),

So I asked,“ My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?”He said,“ Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret and sealed until the time of the end.Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand.

“ But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

And the woman you saw is the great city that has an empire over the kings of the earth.”

So he carried me away in the Spirit to a desert. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and 10 horns.

Let whoever is wise understand these things, and whoever is insightful recognize them. For the ways of the Lord are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
