The angel said to me,“ Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

天使对我说：“你为什么这样惊奇呢？我要将这妇人和她骑的七头十角怪兽的奥秘告诉你。

天使对我说：“你为什么惊奇呢？我要把这妇人的奥秘，和驮着她的那七头十角的兽的奥秘告诉你。

那位天使对我说：“你为什么惊奇呢？我要把这女人和驮着她的那七头十角兽的奥秘告诉你。

天使對我說：「你為甚麼希奇呢？我要將這女人和馱着她的那七頭十角獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：「你為甚麼詫異呢？我要把這女人和馱着她那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：「你為甚麼詫異呢？我要把這女人和馱着她那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：「你為什麼這樣驚奇呢？我要將這婦人和她騎的七頭十角怪獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：“你為甚麼驚奇呢？我要把這婦人的奧祕，和馱著她的那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：『你為甚麼驚奇呢？我要將這婦人象徵的奧祕和那馱着她的、那有七個頭十個角的獸、象徵的奧祕告訴你。

那位天使對我說：「你為什麼驚奇呢？我要把這女人和馱著她的那七頭十角獸的奧祕告訴你。

使者謂我曰、爾何奇耶、婦與所乘首七角十之獸、我將以奧秘告爾、

天使語我曰、爾何異耶、婦與所乘首七角十之獸、其奧義我將示汝、

天使問我曰、爾何驚駭、婦與所乘七首十角之獸、我將以其奧義示爾、

天神語予曰：胡驚異為？吾欲告爾以此婦及其所乘七首十角之獸之秘密。

Then the angel said to me:“ Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

Then the angel said to me,“ Why are you amazed? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman. And I will explain the mystery of the beast she rides on. The beast is the one who has the seven heads and ten horns.

But the angel said to me,“ Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns that carries her.

“ Why are you so amazed?” the angel asked.“ I will tell you the mystery of this woman and of the beast with seven heads and ten horns on which she sits.

Then the angel said to me,“ Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast, with the seven heads and the ten horns, that carries her.

And the angel said to me,“ Why do you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

But the angel said to me,“ Why did you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou wonder? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and the ten horns.

Then the angel said to me,“ Why are you astonished? I will tell you the secret meaning of the woman and of the beast, with the seven heads and the 10 horns, that carries her.

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

But the angel said to me,“ Why are you astounded? I will interpret for you the mystery of the woman and of the beast with the seven heads and ten horns that carries her.

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying,“ Come here. I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality. Those who dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her sexual immorality.”He carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet- colored beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns.The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of the sexual immorality of the earth.And on her forehead a name was written,“ MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered with great amazement.

The beast that you saw was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss and to go into destruction. Those who dwell on the earth and whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel when they see that the beast was, and is not, and shall be present.
