Then the angel said to me:“ Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast she rides, which has the seven heads and ten horns.

天使对我说：“你为什么这样惊奇呢？我要将这妇人和她骑的七头十角怪兽的奥秘告诉你。

天使对我说：“你为什么惊奇呢？我要把这妇人的奥秘，和驮着她的那七头十角的兽的奥秘告诉你。

那位天使对我说：“你为什么惊奇呢？我要把这女人和驮着她的那七头十角兽的奥秘告诉你。

天使對我說：「你為甚麼希奇呢？我要將這女人和馱着她的那七頭十角獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：「你為甚麼詫異呢？我要把這女人和馱着她那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：「你為甚麼詫異呢？我要把這女人和馱着她那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：「你為什麼這樣驚奇呢？我要將這婦人和她騎的七頭十角怪獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：“你為甚麼驚奇呢？我要把這婦人的奧祕，和馱著她的那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。

天使對我說：『你為甚麼驚奇呢？我要將這婦人象徵的奧祕和那馱着她的、那有七個頭十個角的獸、象徵的奧祕告訴你。

那位天使對我說：「你為什麼驚奇呢？我要把這女人和馱著她的那七頭十角獸的奧祕告訴你。

使者謂我曰、爾何奇耶、婦與所乘首七角十之獸、我將以奧秘告爾、

天使語我曰、爾何異耶、婦與所乘首七角十之獸、其奧義我將示汝、

天使問我曰、爾何驚駭、婦與所乘七首十角之獸、我將以其奧義示爾、

天神語予曰：胡驚異為？吾欲告爾以此婦及其所乘七首十角之獸之秘密。

There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, and was glittering with gold, precious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup in her hand, filled with abominable things and the filth of her adulteries.The name written on her forehead was a mystery: babylon the great the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and yet will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.
