「來吧！一起來參加上帝的盛宴，一同享用君王、將軍、勇士、馬匹、騎士、自由人、奴隸和尊卑老少的肉吧！」

他們又把塵土撒在頭上，哀傷哭泣，喊著說，『這大城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！所有經營航運的都因她的奢華而發了財，可是頃刻間她卻淪為廢墟了！』

第二隻獸像熊，用兩隻後腿站立，牙齒間叼著三根肋骨，有聲音對牠說，『起來，多吞吃肉吧！』

住在我帳篷中的人，誰沒飽餐我的肉食呢？

當惡人來吞吃我，仇敵來攻擊我時，必失足跌倒。

第六位天使將碗倒在幼發拉底大河上，河水立刻乾了，為東方各國的王預備了道路。

你看見的那十個角象徵另外十個還沒有得勢的王，他們將取得王權和那怪獸一同統治短暫的一段時期。他們一致同意把自己所有的能力和權柄交給那怪獸。

其中五個已經衰亡，一個還在，另外一個還未來到，他來後只能短暫存留。

看啊，我要驅使瑪代人來攻擊他們。瑪代人不在乎金子，也不看重銀子，他們必用弓箭射死青年，不憐憫嬰兒，也不顧惜孩童。

她們是雙手沾滿血腥的淫婦，必有義人按她們應得的報應審判她們。』「主耶和華說，『我要使許多人起來攻擊、搶掠她們，叫她們膽戰心驚。這些人要用石頭打死她們，用刀殺戮她們和她們的兒女，用火燒毀她們的房屋。這樣，我便制止了這地方的淫亂，所有的婦女都引以為戒，不敢效法她們。她們淫亂，必得報應；她們拜偶像，必受懲罰。這樣，你們就知道我是主耶和華。』」
