第二只兽像熊，用两只后腿站立，牙齿间叼着三根肋骨，有声音对它说，‘起来，多吞吃肉吧！’

住在我帐篷中的人，谁没饱餐我的肉食呢？

当恶人来吞吃我，仇敌来攻击我时，必失足跌倒。

第六位天使将碗倒在幼发拉底大河上，河水立刻干了，为东方各国的王预备了道路。

你看见的那十个角象征另外十个还没有得势的王，他们将取得王权和那怪兽一同统治短暂的一段时期。他们一致同意把自己所有的能力和权柄交给那怪兽。

其中五个已经衰亡，一个还在，另外一个还未来到，他来后只能短暂存留。

看啊，我要驱使玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不在乎金子，也不看重银子，他们必用弓箭射死青年，不怜悯婴儿，也不顾惜孩童。

她们是双手沾满血腥的淫妇，必有义人按她们应得的报应审判她们。’“主耶和华说，‘我要使许多人起来攻击、抢掠她们，叫她们胆战心惊。这些人要用石头打死她们，用刀杀戮她们和她们的儿女，用火烧毁她们的房屋。这样，我便制止了这地方的淫乱，所有的妇女都引以为戒，不敢效法她们。她们淫乱，必得报应；她们拜偶像，必受惩罚。这样，你们就知道我是主耶和华。’”
