His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions will serve and obey him.’

Let the saints rejoice in honor. Let them sing for joy on their beds.May the high praises of God be in their mouths, and a two- edged sword in their hand,to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples;to bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;to execute on them the written judgment. In time of security he will come even on the fattest places of the province. He will do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers. He will scatter among them prey, plunder, and substance. Yes, he will devise his plans against the strongholds, even for a time.“ He will stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south will wage war in battle with an exceedingly great and mighty army; but he won’t stand; for they will devise plans against him.

I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake. The sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became as blood.The stars of the sky fell to the earth, like a fig tree dropping its unripe figs when it is shaken by a great wind.The sky was removed like a scroll when it is rolled up. Every mountain and island were moved out of their places.The kings of the earth, the princes, the commanding officers, the rich, the strong, and every slave and free person, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains.They told the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,for the great day of his wrath has come; and who is able to stand?”

The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.

Your hand will find out all of your enemies. Your right hand will find out those who hate you.You will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of your anger. Yahweh will swallow them up in his wrath. The fire shall devour them.You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.For they intended evil against you. They plotted evil against you which cannot succeed.For you will make them turn their back, when you aim drawn bows at their face.

“ The King will answer them,‘ Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’

Therefore, holy brothers, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession: Jesus,who was faithful to him who appointed him, as also Moses was in all his house.
