For many are called, but few chosen.

For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith Jehovah; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

And he shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High; and he shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and half a time.But the judgment shall be set, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.And the kingdom and the dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High: his kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Let the saints exult in glory: Let them sing for joy upon their beds.Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two- edged sword in their hand;To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishments upon the peoples;To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;To execute upon them the judgment written: This honor have all his saints. Praise ye Jehovah.

In time of security shall he come even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers’ fathers; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance: yea, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall war in battle with an exceeding great and mighty army; but he shall not stand; for they shall devise devices against him.

And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples as dew from Jehovah, as showers upon the grass, that tarry not for man, nor wait for the sons of men.And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations, in the midst of many peoples, as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep; who, if he go through, treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and there is none to deliver.Let thy hand be lifted up above thine adversaries, and let all thine enemies be cut off.

And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood;and the stars of the heaven fell unto the earth, as a fig tree casteth her unripe figs when she is shaken of a great wind.And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and the chief captains, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains;and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:for the great day of their wrath is come; and who is able to stand?

The Lord at thy right hand Will strike through kings in the day of his wrath.

And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: After glory hath he sent me unto the nations which plundered you; for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

By me kings reign, And princes decree justice.By me princes rule, And nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

Thy hand will find out all thine enemies; Thy right hand will find out those that hate thee.Thou wilt make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger: Jehovah will swallow them up in his wrath, And the fire shall devour them.Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men.For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform.For thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt make ready with thy bowstrings against their face.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.

Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, even Jesus;who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
