One of the seven angels who had poured out the seven bowls came over and spoke to me.“ Come with me,” he said,“ and I will show you the judgment that is going to come on the great prostitute, who rules over many waters.

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me:“ Come, I will show you the judgment of the notorious prostitute who is seated on many waters.

你這住在眾水旁，多有財寶的啊！你的結局到了，你被剪除的時刻到了。

因為他的審判是真實公義的。他審判了那大淫婦，那以淫亂敗壞了世界的；並且為他的僕人向淫婦伸了流血的冤。”

拿著七個盛滿著末後七災的碗的七位天使中，有一位走來對我說：“你來！我要把新娘，就是羊羔的妻子，指示你。”

那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了。神也想起巴比倫大城來，要把自己烈怒的酒杯遞給它。

我看見天上有另一個景象，又大又奇。有七位天使掌管著末後的七災，因為神的烈怒在這七災中發盡了。

拿著七碗的七位天使中，有一位來跟我講話，說：“你來，我要把那坐在眾水之上的大淫婦所要受的審判指示你。地上的眾王都跟她行過淫，住在地上的人也都喝她淫亂的酒醉了。”我在靈裡被天使帶到曠野去，看見一個婦人，騎著朱紅色的獸，這獸布滿了褻瀆的名號，有七頭十角。那婦人穿著紫色和朱紅色的衣服，佩戴著金子、寶石和珍珠的裝飾，手裡拿著金杯，盛滿了可憎的物，和她淫亂的污穢。她額上寫著一個名號：“奧祕，大巴比倫，地上的淫婦和可憎的物之母。”我又看見那婦人喝聖徒的血，和那為耶穌作見證的人的血，喝醉了。我看見了她，就大大驚奇。天使對我說：“你為甚麼驚奇呢？我要把這婦人的奧祕，和馱著她的那七頭十角的獸的奧祕告訴你。你看見的那獸，先前在、現今不在、將來要從無底坑上來，然後走向滅亡。住在世上的人，凡是名字在創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的，看見了那先前在、現今不在、將來還要出現的獸，就都要驚奇。在這裡需要有智慧的心。七頭就是那婦人所坐的七座山，也就是七位王：五位已經倒了，一位還在，另一位還沒有來到；他來的時候，必須存留一會兒。那先前在、現今不在的獸，就是第八位。他也是出於那七位中的一位的，並且正在走向滅亡。你看見的那十角，就是十王，他們還沒有取得王權；但要跟獸一同得著權柄，作王一個時期。他們同心合意，把自己的權力權柄交給那獸。他們要跟羊羔作戰，羊羔必勝過他們，因為他是萬主之主，萬王之王。那些與羊羔同在、蒙召、被選、有忠心的，也必勝過他們。”天使又對我說：“你所看見那淫婦坐著的眾水，就是多種民族、群眾、邦國，方言的人。你看見的十角和那獸，都要恨那淫婦，使她荒涼赤身，又要吃她的肉，用火把她燒掉。神要眾王行他的旨意，就把意念放在他們心中，叫他們同心把自己的國獻給那獸，直到神的話都實現為止。

那忠貞的城，怎麼會變成妓女！她從前充滿公平，有公義居在其中，現在卻有兇手居住。

說：‘有禍了！有禍了！這大城啊！就是一向穿著細麻布、紫色、朱紅色的衣服，佩戴著金子、寶石和珍珠裝飾的，一時之間，這麼大的財富竟蕩然無存！’“所有船長、旅客、水手，以及凡是靠海謀生的，都遠遠地站著。他們看見了焚燒她的煙，就喊叫說：‘有哪一座城能與這大城相比呢？’他們又把塵土撒在自己頭上，痛哭悲哀，喊著說：‘有禍了！有禍了！這大城啊！凡是有船航行海上的，都因這城的財寶發了財；一時之間她竟成了荒場！’

那掌管著末後七災的七位天使，從聖所出來，穿著清潔明亮的細麻衣，胸間束著金帶。四個活物中有一個，把盛滿了活到永永遠遠之神的烈怒的七個金碗，交給了那七位天使。

“你從古時就折斷了自己的軛，解開了自己的繩索，說：‘我不事奉你了。’你在每個高岡上，在每棵繁茂樹下，蹲伏行淫。

但你們這些巫婦的兒子，姦夫和妓女的後裔啊！你們都走近這裡行姦淫吧！

都因妓女多有淫行，施邪術的美麗女巫，藉著她的淫行誘惑列國，藉著她的邪術欺騙萬族。萬軍之耶和華說：看哪！我必攻擊你；我要把你的裙子掀到你的臉上，使萬國看見你赤身露體，使列邦看見你的羞恥。

那對我說話的天使拿著一根金的蘆葦，要量那城、城門和城牆。

他們彼此說：“在路上他對我們說話，給我們解釋聖經的時候，我們的心不是火熱的嗎？”

這些事以後，我觀看，見天上有一道門開著；並且有我第一次聽見的那個好像號筒的聲音，對我說：“你上這裡來！我要把以後必定發生的事指示你。”

忽然有兩個人和他談話，就是摩西和以利亞。
