我來如盜、儆醒而守其衣者福矣、免裸行而見羞也、

主曰、我必襲爾、如盜猝至、當儆醒守厥衣服、以免裸裎、庶無愧怍、得蒙福祉、

主曰、我來、如盜猝至、凡警醒守衣、免其裸身現醜者有福、

我來有如不速之客。人能恆自警惕、守其所服、毋使赤身露體、自彰其醜、斯為有福。

Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.

I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked.

Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.It is like a man going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants in charge, each with his work, and commands the doorkeeper to stay awake.Therefore stay awake— for you do not know when the master of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning—lest he come suddenly and find you asleep.And what I say to you I say to all: Stay awake.”

Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you.Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy.

For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.While people are saying,“ There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.

Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish everyone with tears.

So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your disgrace shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no one.

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers.

Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants!But know this, that if the master of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have left his house to be broken into.You also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”Peter said,“ Lord, are you telling this parable for us or for all?”And the Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom his master will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time?Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.

And when Moses saw that the people had broken loose( for Aaron had let them break loose, to the derision of their enemies),

“ Woe to him who makes his neighbors drink— you pour out your wrath and make them drunk, in order to gaze at their nakedness!

lest I strip her naked and make her as in the day she was born, and make her like a wilderness, and make her like a parched land, and kill her with thirst.

therefore, behold, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved and all those you hated. I will gather them against you from every side and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness.
