我來有如不速之客。人能恆自警惕、守其所服、毋使赤身露體、自彰其醜、斯為有福。

故當儆醒、蓋不知爾主何日至也、若家主知盜何更至、則必儆醒、不容穴其屋、此爾所知也、

我為爾謀、宜向我市火煉之金、致得富、市白衣自衣、致爾裸體之羞不露、市目膏以膏爾目、致得見、

然主日將至、如盜然、是日諸天訇然而逝、體質俱為烈火所化、地與其間之造作盡爇焉、

儻得被之、不至裸裎也、

慎之哉、儆醒祈禱、以爾不知其期也、譬人去家遠遊、委權於僕、各有所司、命閽者儆醒、是以爾宜儆醒、因不知家主何時而至、或昏暮、或夜半、或鷄鳴、或平旦、恐突如其來、遇爾寢焉、我所語爾者、亦以語眾、宜儆醒也、

故宜憶所受所聞如何、且守之而改悔、倘不儆醒、我將至如盜然、爾不知我何時而至也、然爾曹在撒狄者、有數人未污其衣、彼將衣白偕我遊、蓋其所堪也、

蓋爾詳知主之日至、如夜間之盜、人方謂平康安固、滅亡突及之、如產難之及妊婦、而莫之避也、

故當儆醒、以爾不知其時日也、○

故當儆醒、憶我三年之久、晝夜不息、涕泣以勸爾眾、

勿如眾寢、宜儆醒節制、

儆醒、祈禱、免入誘惑、心固願之、而身弱耳、

爾惟隨時儆醒祈求、俾爾得避此將來之事、而立於人子前、○

必裸爾體、以暴爾醜、我必復仇、不恕一人、

夫萬物之終伊邇、故宜端正節制而祈禱、
