且因其痛其瘍謗讟在天之上帝、而不悔其所行、○

以其瘍痛甚、謗讟天上上帝、不悔改所為、

且因生瘡痛苦、謗讟天上之主、不悔改所為、

不堪瘡痍之苦、而謗讟天主；猶不知痛悔諸業、而改絃易轍。

They spoke evil things against the God of heaven. They did this because of their pains and their sores. But they refused to turn away from the sins they had committed.

人被炎熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災難的神的名，他們沒有悔改，也沒有把榮耀歸給神。

第一位天使去，把碗傾倒在地上，就有又臭又毒的瘡生在那些有獸的印記和拜獸像的人身上。

又有大冰雹從天掉落在人身上，每一個約重一他連得，以致人因冰雹的災難而褻瀆神，因為那災難太大了。

正在那時候，地大震動，城倒塌了十分之一；因地震而死的有七千人，其餘的都恐懼，歸榮耀給天上的神。

我曾給她悔改的機會，她卻不肯悔改她的淫行。

「我亞達薛西王又降旨達於河西所有的司庫：『精通天上之神律法的以斯拉祭司文士無論向你們要甚麼，你們要速速辦理，

要他們祈求天上的神施憐憫，將這奧祕指明，免得但以理和他的同伴與巴比倫其餘的智慧人一同滅亡。這奧祕就在夜間異象中顯明給但以理，但以理就稱頌天上的神。

「波斯王居魯士如此說：耶和華－天上的神已將地上萬國賜給我，又委派我在猶大的耶路撒冷為他建造殿宇。你們中間凡作他子民的可以上去，願耶和華－他的神與他同在。」

只是作惡的和騙人的將變本加厲，迷惑人也被人迷惑。

我聽見這話，就坐下哭泣，悲哀幾日，在天上的神面前禁食祈禱，

「諸王之王亞達薛西，達於精通天上之神律法的以斯拉祭司文士等等：現在

他們這樣回答我們說：『我們是天和地之神的僕人，重建多年前所建造的殿，就是以色列一位偉大的君王建造完成的。但因我們祖先惹天上的神發怒，神把他們交在迦勒底人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他就拆毀這殿，又把百姓擄到巴比倫。

凡天上之神所吩咐的，當為天上之神的殿切實辦理。何必使憤怒臨到王和王眾子的國呢？

好叫他們獻馨香的祭給天上的神，又為王和王眾子的壽命祈禱。

你們要稱謝天上的神，因他的慈愛永遠長存。

王對我說：「你想求甚麼？」於是我向天上的神祈禱。

當諸王在位的時候，天上的神必另立一個永不敗壞的國度，這國度必不歸給其他百姓，卻要打碎滅絕所有的國度，存立到永遠。

他說：「我是希伯來人，我敬畏耶和華，天上的神，他創造了滄海和陸地。」
