不堪瘡痍之苦、而謗讟天主；猶不知痛悔諸業、而改絃易轍。

凡天上上帝所命者、當為其室、詳審為之、何可招怒、及於王國、與其諸子哉、

俾獻馨香之祭、奉於天上上帝、為王及王眾子之壽祈禱、

其稱謝天上上帝、以其慈惠永存兮、

王曰、爾欲何求、我則默禱天上上帝、

當彼列王時、天上上帝必立一國、永不見滅、其權不歸他族、將毀前之諸國、而盡滅之、其國恆存弗替、

曰、我乃希伯來人、畏天上上帝耶和華、造滄海與陸地者也、
