人被高熱燒烤，就褻瀆那有權柄掌管這些災難的神的名，並不悔改，把榮耀歸給他。

第一位天使去了，把碗倒在地上，就有惡性的毒瘡，生在那些有獸的記號和拜獸像的人身上。

有大冰雹從天上落在人的身上，每塊重約四十公斤。由於這冰雹的災，人就褻瀆神，因為這災太嚴重了。

就在那時，大地震發生了，那座城倒塌了十分之一，因著地震而死的有七千人，其餘的人都很害怕，就把榮耀歸給天上的神。

他們這樣答覆我們，說：‘我們是天地之神的僕人，正在重建這多年以前已經建好的殿，就是一位以色列偉大的君王所建成的。但因為我們的祖先激怒了天上的神，神就把他們交在迦勒底人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒的手中；尼布甲尼撒就拆毀這殿，把人民擄到巴比倫去。

天上的神命令的，就要為天上神的殿熱心去作，免得忿怒臨到王和王的子孫的國。

好讓他們可以獻馨香的祭給天上的神，為王和王的子孫祈求長壽。

你們要稱謝天上的神，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。

王問我：“你想要甚麼呢？”我就向天上的神禱告，

那些王在位的時候，天上的神必興起另一個永不滅亡的國，國權必不歸給別族的人。這國必砸碎毀滅其他各國；並且這國必存到永遠。

他回答說：“我是希伯來人，我敬畏耶和華天上的神，就是那創造海洋和陸地的。”
