殿里因为上帝的荣耀和权能而烟雾弥漫，人们必须等到七位天使将七样灾祸降完，才能进入圣殿。

那些人要受的刑罚就是离开主的面和祂荣耀的权能，永远灭亡。

我看见天上又有一个宏大奇异的景象，有七位天使掌管着最后的七种灾祸，上帝要借这些灾祸发尽祂的烈怒。

啊，上帝的智慧和知识多么博大精深！祂的判断多么难测！祂的踪迹多么难寻！

祂的鼻孔冒烟，口喷烈焰和火炭。祂拨开云天，脚踩密云，亲自降临。祂乘着基路伯天使飞翔，乘着风的翅膀疾驰。祂藏身于黑暗中，四围以密云作幔幕。从祂面前的荣光中，冰雹和火炭冲破云层。耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出的声音响彻在冰雹和火炭中。祂射出利箭驱散仇敌，发出闪电击溃他们。

你以密云遮盖自己，以致祷告达不到你那里。

耶和华对我说：“就算摩西和撒母耳站在我面前求情，我也不会怜悯这些百姓。你把他们从我面前赶走吧！
