A second angel followed him. He said,“‘ Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen!’( Isaiah 21:9) The city of Babylon made all the nations drink the strong wine of her terrible sins.”

另有第二位天使接着说：“倾覆了！那曾叫列国喝淫乱、烈怒之酒的大巴比伦倾覆了！”

另有第二位天使接着说：“倾覆了！那曾叫列国喝淫乱、烈怒之酒的大巴比伦倾覆了！”

接着又一位天使说：“巴比伦大城倒塌了！倒塌了！她曾引诱万民喝她那淫乱的烈酒。”

又有第二位天使接着说：“倾倒了！大巴比伦倾倒了！它曾经叫列国喝它淫乱烈怒的酒。”

另一位天使，就是第二位天使跟着说：“倒塌了！大巴比伦倒塌了！她给万国喝了她淫乱愤怒的酒。”

又有第二位天使接着說：「叫萬民喝邪淫、大怒之酒的巴比倫大城傾倒了！傾倒了！」

另有第二位天使接着說：「傾覆了！那曾叫列國喝淫亂、烈怒之酒的大巴比倫傾覆了！」

接著又一位天使說：「巴比倫大城倒塌了！倒塌了！她曾引誘萬民喝她那淫亂的烈酒。」

又有第二位天使接著說：“傾倒了！大巴比倫傾倒了！它曾經叫列國喝它淫亂烈怒的酒。”

另有一位第二位天使跟着說：『傾覆了，傾覆了，大巴比倫，那曾叫列國喝她猛烈淫亂之酒的！』

另一位天使，就是第二位天使跟著說：「倒塌了！大巴比倫倒塌了！她給萬國喝了她淫亂憤怒的酒。」

又有第二使者從之曰、傾矣乎、傾矣乎、大巴比倫、使萬國飲其淫亂干怒之酒者也、○

又一天使、旋踵至曰、大邑巴比倫、使萬國飲淫亂之鴆酒、故傾圮、

又一天使隨其後、曰、大邑巴比倫、使萬國飲其邪淫之毒酒、邪淫之毒酒或作干怒之酒傾矣、傾矣、或作大邑巴比倫傾矣傾矣因使萬國飲其邪淫之毒酒

又一天神隨其後而言曰：「盛極一時之巴比倫、素以荒淫之酒鴆毒天下萬國者、已見傾覆、」

A second angel followed and said,“‘ Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”

Another angel, a second, followed, saying,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”

Then another angel followed him through the sky, shouting,“ Babylon is fallen— that great city is fallen— because she made all the nations of the world drink the wine of her passionate immorality.”

And another, a second angel, followed, saying,“ It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen. She made all the nations drink the wine of her sexual immorality, which brings wrath.”

And another angel, a second one, followed, saying,“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”

And another angel followed, saying,“ Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

And another, a second angel, followed, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that hath made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

A second angel followed, saying:“ It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen, who made all nations drink the wine of her sexual immorality, which brings wrath.”

And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

A second angel followed the first, declaring:“ Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great city! She made all the nations drink of the wine of her immoral passion.”

Another, a second angel, followed, saying,“ Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality.”

Look! Here comes a man in a chariot! It’s being pulled by a team of horses. He’s calling out the news,‘ Babylon has fallen! It has fallen! All the statues of its gods lie broken in pieces on the ground!’ ”

Babylon was like a gold cup in my hand. That city made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank its wine. So now they have gone crazy.Babylon will suddenly fall and be broken. Weep for it! Get healing lotion for its pain. Perhaps it can be healed.

With a mighty voice he shouted,“‘ Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen!’( Isaiah 21:9) She has become a place where demons live. She has become a den for every evil spirit. She has become a place where every‘ unclean’ bird is found. She has become a place where every‘ unclean’ and hated animal is found.All the nations have drunk the strong wine of her terrible sins. The kings of the earth took part in her evil ways. The traders of the world grew rich from her great wealth.”

The great city split into three parts. The cities of the nations crumbled and fell. God remembered Babylon the Great. He gave Babylon the cup filled with the wine of his terrible anger.

Their bodies will lie in the main street of the great city. It is also the city where their Lord was nailed to a cross. The city is sometimes compared to Sodom or Egypt.

The woman you saw stands for the great city of Babylon. That city rules over the kings of the earth.”

They will see the smoke rising as Babylon burns. They will ask,‘ Was there ever a city like this great city?’They will throw dust on their heads. They will weep and mourn. They will cry out,“‘ How terrible! How terrible it is for you, great city! All who had ships on the sea became rich because of her wealth! In just one hour she has been destroyed!’“ You heavens, be glad for this! You people of God, be glad! You apostles and prophets, be glad! God has judged her with the judgment she gave to you.”Then a mighty angel picked up a huge rock. It was the size of a large millstone. He threw it into the sea. Then he said,“ That is how the great city of Babylon will be thrown down. Never again will it be found.

The kings of the earth took part in her evil ways. The people living on earth were drunk with the wine of her terrible sins.”Then in a vision the angel carried me away to a desert. There the Holy Spirit showed me a woman sitting on a bright red beast. It was covered with names that say evil things about God. It had seven heads and ten horns.The woman was dressed in purple and bright red. She was gleaming with gold, jewels and pearls. In her hand she held a golden cup filled with things that God hates. It was filled with her terrible, dirty sins.The name written on her forehead was a mystery. Here is what it said. the great city of babylon the mother of prostitutes the mother of everything on earth that god hatesI saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people. They are the ones who are witnesses about Jesus. When I saw her, I was very amazed.

The way he judges is true and fair. He has judged the great prostitute. She made the earth impure with her terrible sins. God has paid her back for killing those who served him.”

They will be terrified by her suffering. They will stand far away from her. And they will cry out,“‘ How terrible! How terrible it is for you, great city! How terrible for you, mighty city of Babylon! In just one hour you have been destroyed!’“ The traders of the world will weep and mourn over her. No one buys what they sell anymore.

He said,“ Isn’t this the great Babylon I have built as a place for my royal palace? I used my mighty power to build it. It shows how glorious my majesty is.”

“‘ “But you trusted in your beauty. You used your fame to become a prostitute. You offered your body freely to anyone who passed by. In fact, you gave yourself to anyone who wanted you.You used some of your clothes to make high places colorful. That is where people worshiped other gods. You were a prostitute there. You went to your lover and he took your beauty.I had given you fine jewelry. It was made out of gold and silver. You used it to make for yourself statues of male gods. You worshiped those gods. You were not faithful to me.You put your beautiful clothes on them. You offered my oil and incense to them.You also offered them food. It was made out of olive oil, honey and the finest flour. I had given it to you to eat. You offered it as sweet- smelling incense to them. That is what you did,” announces the Lord and King.“‘ “Then you took your sons and daughters who belonged to me. And you sacrificed them as food to other gods. Wasn’t it enough for you to be a prostitute?You killed my children. You sacrificed them to other gods.You did not remember the days when you were young. At that time you were completely naked. You were kicking around in your blood. But now you have done evil things. I hate them. You have worshiped other gods. You have not been faithful to me.

Then say,‘ In the same way, Babylon will sink down. It will never rise again. That is because I will bring such horrible trouble on it. And its people will fall along with it.’ ” The words of Jeremiah end here.

Nothing can heal your wounds. You will die of them. All those who hear the news about you clap their hands. That’s because you have fallen from power. Is there anyone who has not suffered because of how badly you treated them?

The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it.It also forced everyone to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead. People great or small, rich or poor, free or slave had to receive the mark.They could not buy or sell anything unless they had the mark. The mark is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
