And I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.

我聞自天有聲如眾水聲、如大雷聲、又如鼓琴者鼓其琴、

我聞自天有聲、如濤泙湃、如雷震轟、又如鼓琴之聲、

我聞自天有聲、如眾水澎湃之聲、如巨雷轟震之聲、又聞鼓琴者鼓琴之聲、

又聞一音發自天上、如浪濤之澎湃、又如雷霆之震轟；吾所聞之音又似樂人齊集、琴瑟並奏、濟濟一堂、

And I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps.

When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

His feet were like burnished bronze when it has been heated to a glow in a furnace, and His voice was like the sound of many waters.

And I saw something like a sea of glass mixed with fire, and those who were victorious over the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God.

Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying,“ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”

Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.

Praise Him with trumpet sound; Praise Him with harp and lyre.Praise Him with tambourine and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flute.Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with resounding cymbals.Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

and behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the east. And His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone from His glory.

Meanwhile, David and all the house of Israel were celebrating before the Lord with all kinds of instruments made of juniper wood, and with lyres, harps, tambourines, castanets, and cymbals.

and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.When the seven peals of thunder had spoken, I was about to write; and I heard a voice from heaven, saying,“ Seal up the things which the seven peals of thunder have spoken, and do not write them.”

Awake, my glory! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet,

And the sound of harpists, musicians, flute players, and trumpeters will never be heard in you again; and no craftsman of any craft will ever be found in you again; and the sound of a mill will never be heard in you again;

With the ten stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music on the lyre.

So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud over the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.

After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,“ Hallelujah! Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God,because His judgments are true and righteous; for He has judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her sexual immorality, and He has avenged the blood of His bond servants on her.”And a second time they said,“ Hallelujah! Her smoke rises forever and ever.”And the twenty four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying,“ Amen. Hallelujah!”And a voice came from the throne, saying,“ Give praise to our God, all you His bond servants, you who fear Him, the small and the great.”Then I heard something like the voice of a great multitude and like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,“ Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns.Let’s rejoice and be glad and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has prepared herself.”

And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them,“ Come up here.” And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.

Then I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder,“ Come!”

Moreover, David and the commanders of the army set apart for the service some of the sons of Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with lyres, harps, and cymbals; and the number of those who performed this service was:Of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah; the sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied under the direction of the king.Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six in all, under the direction of their father Jeduthun with the harp, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the Lord.Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti and Romamti ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer to exalt him according to the words of God, for God gave fourteen sons and three daughters to Heman.All of these were under the direction of their father to sing in the house of the Lord, with cymbals, harps, and lyres, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the direction of the king.Their number who were trained in singing to the Lord, with their relatives, all who were skillful, was 288.

Then the Lord will appear over them, And His arrow will go forth like lightning; And the Lord God will blow the trumpet, And march in the storm winds of the south.

The first sounded, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was hurled into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood,and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters.The star is named Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the waters because they were made bitter.The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice,“ Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”Then the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from heaven which had fallen to the earth; and the key to the shaft of the abyss was given to him.

The nations rumble on like the rumbling of many waters, But He will rebuke them, and they will flee far away, And be chased like chaff on the mountains before the wind, Or like whirling dust before a gale.

And all the people were watching and hearing the thunder and the lightning flashes, and the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it all, they trembled and stood at a distance.

More than the sounds of many waters, Than the mighty breakers of the sea, The Lord on high is mighty.

Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, With the lyre and the sound of melody.

They shall praise His name with dancing; They shall sing praises to Him with tambourine and lyre.

Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Sing praises to our God on the lyre;

Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And I will praise You on the lyre, God, my God.
