Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

I looked, and there in front of me was the Lamb. He was standing on Mount Zion. With him were 144,000 people. Written on their foreheads were his name and his Father’s name.

“ The one who conquers I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will never go out again. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God— the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God— and my new name.

“ I have installed my king on Zion, my holy mountain.”

Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God( the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels, a festive gathering,to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written in heaven, to a Judge, who is God of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect,and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.

Then everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved, for there will be an escape for those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as the LORD promised, among the survivors the LORD calls.

“ Don’t harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we seal the servants of our God on their foreheads.”And I heard the number of the sealed: 144,000 sealed from every tribe of the Israelites:12,000 sealed from the tribe of Judah, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad,12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh,12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar,12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 sealed from the tribe of Benjamin.After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes with palm branches in their hands.And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!All the angels stood around the throne, and along with the elders and the four living creatures they fell facedown before the throne and worshiped God,saying, Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen.Then one of the elders asked me,“ Who are these people in white robes, and where did they come from?”I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” Then he told me: These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.For this reason they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. The one seated on the throne will shelter them:They will no longer hunger; they will no longer thirst; the sun will no longer strike them, nor will any scorching heat.For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will shepherd them; he will guide them to springs of the waters of life, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

I will make the lame into a remnant, those far removed into a strong nation. Then the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time on and forever.

Then one of the elders said to me,“ Do not weep. Look, the Lion from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered so that he is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”Then I saw one like a slaughtered lamb standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth.He went and took the scroll out of the right hand of the one seated on the throne.When he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and golden bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and you purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.

For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his home:“ This is my resting place forever; I will make my home here because I have desired it.

They said with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!I heard every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them say, Blessing and honor and glory and power be to the one seated on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!

As it is written, Look, I am putting a stone in Zion to stumble over and a rock to trip over, and the one who believes on him will not be put to shame.

“ And I say to you, anyone who acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God,

After this I looked, and the heavenly temple— the tabernacle of testimony— was opened.

Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and one like the Son of Man was seated on the cloud, with a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand.

Zion says,“ The LORD has abandoned me; the Lord has forgotten me!”

He asked me,“ What do you see, Amos?” I replied,“ A basket of summer fruit.” The LORD said to me,“ The end has come for my people Israel; I will no longer spare them.

He asked me,“ What do you see?” I replied,“ I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top. The lampstand also has seven lamps at the top with seven spouts for each of the lamps.

And it makes everyone— small and great, rich and poor, free and slave— to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead,so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark: the beast’s name or the number of its name.

Then I, Daniel, looked, and two others were standing there, one on this bank of the river and one on the other.

And I looked, and there was a pale green horse. Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following after him. They were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill by the sword, by famine, by plague, and by the wild animals of the earth.

Then the word of the LORD came to me, asking,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I replied,“ I see a branch of an almond tree.”

So I looked and saw a hand reaching out to me, and there was a written scroll in it.

Then he brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked there was a hole in the wall.

Then I looked, and there above the expanse over the heads of the cherubim was something like a throne with the appearance of lapis lazuli.

I looked, and there was a whirlwind coming from the north, a huge cloud with fire flashing back and forth and brilliant light all around it. In the center of the fire, there was a gleam like amber.

I looked, and there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub. The luster of the wheels was like the gleam of beryl.

After this I looked, and there in heaven was an open door. The first voice that I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet said,“ Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple. I looked, and the glory of the LORD filled his temple. And I fell facedown.
