翌日、約翰見耶穌來、則曰、觀上帝之羔、乃負世之罪者、

凡不潔可憎及誑者、決不得入、惟錄於羔之維生書者入焉、

斯時也、護衛爾民之大君米迦勒將興、亦有大難、自有國以來、迄於是日、未之有也、其時爾民之中、凡名錄於册者、必蒙拯救、

我則見座中及四生物、與諸長老中、有羔立焉、如曾見殺、有七角七目、即上帝遣於天下之七神、彼前取卷、自居座者之右手、既取之、則四生物與二十四長老、伏於羔前、各執琴與金盂滿以香、即諸聖徒之祈禱、皆唱新歌曰、爾堪取卷而啟其印、因爾見殺、曾以爾血、自各族各方各民各國之中、購人以歸上帝、

然毋以諸鬼服爾為喜、當以爾名錄於天為喜、○

今爾若宥其罪、不然、則塗我名於爾册、

又求我真侶、助此二婦、以其昔與我及革利免、並其餘之同勞、協力於福音、名錄於維生之書者、○

爾既堅忍守我之道、我亦將守爾、免乎受試之時、此時將臨於寰宇、以試凡宅地之人、

我立於門而叩、有聞我聲而啟者、我必入就之、偕彼而餐、彼亦偕我焉、

凡遺於錫安、存於耶路撒冷、在耶路撒冷錄於生籍者、得稱為聖、

我見其一首、若受傷瀕死、而得醫愈、全地遂奇而從之、又拜龍、因以其權予獸、亦拜獸、曰、孰似獸哉、孰能與之戰哉、

因所予行於獸前之兆、以惑宅地之人、告之宜造刃傷仍生之獸像、又予之權、使以生氣賦於像、使之能言、且令凡不拜獸像者見殺、

蛇於婦後、吐水如河、欲漂沒之、
