Many people who live on the earth will worship the beast. They are the ones whose names are not written in the Lamb’s book of life. The Lamb is the one whose death was planned before the world was created.

而是憑著基督的寶血，就像無瑕疵無玷污的羊羔的血。基督是在創立世界以前，是神所預知的，卻在這末後的世代才為你們顯現出來。

就如創立世界以前，他在基督裡揀選了我們，使我們因著愛，在他面前成為聖潔，沒有瑕疵。

那時，王要對右邊的說：‘蒙我父賜福的，來承受創世以來為你們預備好的國吧。

你看見的那獸，先前在、現今不在、將來要從無底坑上來，然後走向滅亡。住在世上的人，凡是名字在創世以來沒有記在生命冊上的，看見了那先前在、現今不在、將來還要出現的獸，就都要驚奇。

得勝的，也必這樣身穿白衣，我決不從生命冊上塗抹他的名，我還要在我父和他的眾天使面前，承認他的名。

大聲說：“被殺的羊羔是配得權能、豐富、智慧、力量、尊貴、榮耀、頌讚的！”

這都是根據永生的盼望，這永生就是沒有謊言的神在萬世以前所應許的。

第二天，約翰見耶穌迎面而來，就說：“看哪，神的羊羔，是除去世人的罪孽的！

所有不潔淨的、行可憎的和說謊的，決不可以進入這城。只有名字記在羊羔生命冊上的才可以進去。

“那時保護你同胞的偉大護衛天使米迦勒必站起來；並且必有患難的時期，是立國以來直到那時未曾有過的。那時你的同胞中名字記錄在冊上的，都必得拯救。

我又看見在寶座和四個活物中間，並且在眾長老中間，有羊羔站著，像是被殺過的。他有七角七眼，就是神的七靈，奉差遣到全地去的。羊羔走過去，從坐在寶座上那位的右手中取了書卷。他拿了書卷之後，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羊羔面前，各拿著琴和盛滿了香的金爐，這香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。他們唱著新歌，說：“你配取書卷，配拆開封印，因為你曾被殺，曾用你的血，從各支派、各方言、各民族、各邦國，把人買了來歸給神，

然而不要因為鬼服了你們就歡喜，卻要因為你們的名字記錄在天上而歡喜。”

現在，如果你肯赦免他們的罪，那就好了；如果不肯，求你從你所寫的冊上把我塗抹吧。”

我真誠的同道啊，我也求你幫助她們。這兩個女人，還有革利免和其餘的同工，都跟我在福音的事工上一同勞苦，他們的名字都在生命冊上。

你既然遵守了我忍耐的道，我也必定保守你脫離那試煉的時候；這就是那將要臨到普天下，來試煉住在地上的人的時候。

看哪！我站在門外敲門；如果有人聽見我的聲音就開門的，我要進到他那裡去，我要跟他在一起，他也要跟我在一起吃飯。

那時，錫安餘剩、仍留在耶路撒冷的人，就是所有登記在耶路撒冷活人名冊上的，都必稱為聖。

獸的七頭中有一個似乎受了致命傷，但那致命傷卻醫好了。全地的人都很驚奇，跟從那獸。因為龍把權柄交給了獸，大家就拜龍，也拜獸，說：“有誰可以跟這獸相比？有誰能與牠作戰呢？”

牠得了能力，在頭一隻獸面前能行奇事，迷惑了住在地上的人，吩咐住在地上的人，要為那受過刀傷而還活著的獸做個像。又有能力賜給牠，可以把氣息給獸像，使獸像能夠說話，並且能夠殺害那些不拜獸像的人。

蛇在婦人後面，從口中吐出水來，好像江河一樣，要把婦人沖去。
