人見龍以權賜獸、故拜龍亦拜獸、曰、誰堪與獸頡頏、與之角戰哉、

故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked,“ Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

我見之獸似豹、熊足獅口、龍以其權位大能賜之、

見厥火炎炎、呼曰、誰能與大邑比儗乎、

此獸操海獸之權、使天下億兆、拜受傷瀕死而得醫之獸、行大異跡、使火自天、降於人前、

俾有神憑海獸之像、而作人言、令殺不拜獸像者、

又顯兆於天、有赤龍甚巨、首七角十、冠七冕、

彼國之王、惟所欲為、自驕其志、藐視諸上帝、口出惡言、瀆諸上帝之上帝、所欲悉遂、迨上帝怒民之期已屆、所定之事、必有應焉、斯王不崇列祖之上帝、不許嫁娶、自為超乎諸上帝、不復崇敬、

其餘未死於此災者、不改厥行、仍事諸鬼、拜不見、不聞、不行、金銀銅木石之偶像、

諸上帝中、孰克與耶和華頡頏、至聖至榮、可畏可頌、獨行異跡、誰堪比儗。

彼為亞納後裔、軀幹雄偉、爾不聞諺云、孰能敵亞納人乎。

以色列族見之、咸懼而遁、

焚厥子女、以祭鬼神兮、流子女無辜之血、以祀迦南之偶像、污衊斯土兮、

遂與羔戰、羔必勝之、以羔為諸主之主、列王之王、從之者、乃見召蒙選忠信之人、

彼惡人妄自尊崇、謂超於凡稱上帝、世所崇拜者、而敵之、入上帝殿、居上帝位、自以為上帝、

蓋異邦人所祭者、非祭上帝、乃祭諸鬼、我不欲爾與鬼交、爾既飲主之杯、則不可飲鬼之杯、爾既共主之席、則不可共鬼之席、我豈可激主怒乎、我豈勝於主乎、

即世之上帝、惑不信者心、使肖上帝之基督福音之榮、不光照焉、
