又拜那龍－因為牠將自己的權柄給了獸，也拜獸，說：「誰能比這獸，誰能與牠交戰呢？」

人見龍以權賜獸、故拜龍亦拜獸、曰、誰堪與獸頡頏、與之角戰哉、

乃拜以權予獸之龍、又拜獸曰、誰能比此獸、誰能與之交戰、

故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

我所看见的兽，形状像豹，脚像熊的脚，口像狮子的口。那条龙将自己的能力、座位和大权柄都给了它。

看见烧她的烟，就喊着说：“有哪一个城能跟这大城比呢？”

它在第一只兽面前施行第一只兽所有的权柄，并且使地和住在地上的人拜那致命伤被医好了的第一只兽。这只兽又行大奇事，甚至在人面前使火从天降在地上。

又有权柄赐给它，让那只兽的像有生气，并且能说话，又使所有不拜兽像的人都被杀害。

天上又出现了另一个兆头：有一条大红龙，有七个头十个角；七个头上戴着七个冠冕。

“王必任意而行，自高自大，超过所有的神明，又用荒谬的话攻击万神之神。他必行事亨通，直到主的愤怒结束，因为所定的事必然实现。他不顾他祖宗的神明，也不顾妇女所仰慕的神明，任何神明他都不顾；因为他自大，高过一切，

其余未曾被这些灾难所杀的人仍旧不为自己手所做的悔改，还是去拜鬼魔和那些不能看、不能听、不能走，用金、银、铜、木、石所造的偶像。

“耶和华啊，众神明中，谁能像你？谁能像你，至圣至荣，可颂可畏，施行奇事！

那里的百姓是亚衲族人，又高又壮，是你所知道的；你也听说过：‘谁能在亚衲族人面前站立得住呢？’

以色列众人看见那人就非常害怕，从他面前逃跑。

他们把自己的儿女祭祀鬼魔，流无辜人的血，就是自己儿女的血，用他们祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血玷污了。

他们将与羔羊作战，羔羊必胜过他们，因为羔羊是万主之主、万王之王，而同羔羊在一起的是蒙召、被选、忠心的人。”

那抵挡者高抬自己超过一切称为神明的，和一切受人敬拜的，甚至坐在上帝的殿里，自称为上帝。

不，我是说，他们所献的祭是祭鬼，不是祭上帝；我不愿意你们与鬼来往。你们不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能吃主的筵席，又吃鬼的筵席。我们要惹主的嫉恨吗？我们比他更强吗？

这些不信的人被这世界的神明弄瞎了心眼，使他们看不见基督荣耀的福音。基督本是上帝的像。
