又因龍將權柄給了獸，就敬拜龍，也敬拜獸，說：『誰能比得過這獸呢？誰能對獸爭戰呢？』

他們膜拜龍，因為牠把權柄交給了獸。他們也膜拜獸，說：「誰能與這獸相比呢？誰能與牠交戰呢？」

又拜龍、因以其權予獸、亦拜獸、曰、孰似獸哉、孰能與之戰哉、

人見龍以權賜獸、故拜龍亦拜獸、曰、誰堪與獸頡頏、與之角戰哉、

乃拜以權予獸之龍、又拜獸曰、誰能比此獸、誰能與之交戰、

故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

People worshiped the dragon because he had given authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast and asked,“ Who is like the beast? Who can wage war against it?”

我所看見的獸，形狀像豹，腳像熊的腳，口像獅子的口。那條龍將自己的能力、座位和大權柄都給了牠。

看見燒她的煙，就喊着說：「有哪一個城能跟這大城比呢？」

牠在第一隻獸面前施行第一隻獸所有的權柄，並且使地和住在地上的人拜那致命傷被醫好了的第一隻獸。這隻獸又行大奇事，甚至在人面前使火從天降在地上。

又有權柄賜給牠，讓那隻獸的像有生氣，並且能說話，又使所有不拜獸像的人都被殺害。

天上又出現了另一個兆頭：有一條大紅龍，有七個頭十個角；七個頭上戴着七個冠冕。

「王必任意而行，自高自大，超過所有的神明，又用荒謬的話攻擊萬神之神。他必行事亨通，直到主的憤怒結束，因為所定的事必然實現。他不顧他祖宗的神明，也不顧婦女所仰慕的神明，任何神明他都不顧；因為他自大，高過一切，

其餘未曾被這些災難所殺的人仍舊不為自己手所做的悔改，還是去拜鬼魔和那些不能看、不能聽、不能走，用金、銀、銅、木、石所造的偶像。

「耶和華啊，眾神明中，誰能像你？誰能像你，至聖至榮，可頌可畏，施行奇事！

那裏的百姓是亞衲族人，又高又壯，是你所知道的；你也聽說過：『誰能在亞衲族人面前站立得住呢？』

以色列眾人看見那人就非常害怕，從他面前逃跑。

他們把自己的兒女祭祀鬼魔，流無辜人的血，就是自己兒女的血，用他們祭祀迦南的偶像，那地就被血玷污了。

他們將與羔羊作戰，羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王，而同羔羊在一起的是蒙召、被選、忠心的人。」

那抵擋者高抬自己超過一切稱為神明的，和一切受人敬拜的，甚至坐在神的殿裏，自稱為神。

不，我是說，他們所獻的祭是祭鬼，不是祭神；我不願意你們與鬼來往。你們不能喝主的杯，又喝鬼的杯；不能吃主的筵席，又吃鬼的筵席。我們要惹主的嫉恨嗎？我們比他更強嗎？

這些不信的人被這世界的神明弄瞎了心眼，使他們看不見基督榮耀的福音。基督本是神的像。
