凡沒有蓋上怪獸印記的，就是沒有怪獸的名字或代號的，都不能做買賣。

這記號就是獸的名字或獸名的數字，除了那有記號的，誰也不能買，誰也不能賣。

叫人、除非有印記、有獸的名或獸名的數目的印記、就不能買，也不能賣。

這樣，除了有這印記的人，誰都不可以買或賣，這印記就是獸的名字或牠名字的數目。

若無其印誌、即獸之名、或其名之數、則不得買與賣也、

如不受印誌、或不書獸名、及其名數者、使不貿易、

人若不受獸之印誌、或獸名數、皆不得貿易、

凡未印有獸名、或獸名之數者、均不得從事貿易。

牠又使眾人，無論大小、貧富，自主的、為奴的，都在右手上，或是在額上，打一個印記；

在此，要有智慧：讓有悟性的人解開獸的數目吧，因為這是一個人的數字，那數字是六百六十六。

另有第三位天使接着他們，大聲說：「若有人拜那隻獸和獸像，在額上或在手上受了印記，

在她額上寫着奧祕的名字，說：「大巴比倫，世上的淫婦和一切可憎之物的母。」

也要見他的面。他的名字將寫在他們的額上。

得勝的，我要使他在我神的殿中作柱子，他必不再從那裏出去。我又要把我神的名和我神城的名－從天上我神那裏降下來的新耶路撒冷，和我的新名，都寫在他上面。
