叫人、除非有印記、有獸的名或獸名的數目的印記、就不能買，也不能賣。

除了那受印记、有了兽名或有兽名数目的，都不得做买卖。

若無其印誌、即獸之名、或其名之數、則不得買與賣也、

如不受印誌、或不書獸名、及其名數者、使不貿易、

人若不受獸之印誌、或獸名數、皆不得貿易、

凡未印有獸名、或獸名之數者、均不得從事貿易。

牠叫眾人、小的大的、富的窮的、自主的為奴的，都要給自己弄個印記、或在右手上、或在額上；

這裏就是需要智慧的地方。有心思的人可以計算這獸的數目；因為這是一個人名的數目：其數目是六百六十六。

另有一位第三位天使跟着他們，大聲地說：『人若拜獸和獸的像，受印記在額上或手上，

她的額上寫着名字、有象徵的奧祕：「大巴比倫、地上淫婦之母、可憎之物之母！」

必見他的聖容；必有他的名字在他們的額上。

得勝的、我必使他做柱石在我的上帝的殿堂中；他決不再出去到外面。我必將我的上帝之名、和我的上帝之城的名（新的耶路撒冷、那由天上、從我的上帝那裏降下來的）、連我新的名、都寫在他上面。
