凡未印有獸名、或獸名之數者、均不得從事貿易。

牠還強迫所有的人，無論卑微的或尊貴的、富有的或貧窮的、自由的或為奴的，都在右手或額上接受印記；

智慧就在這裡。有理性的人應當計算這獸的數目，因為這是一個人的數目；其數目是六百六十六。

另一位天使，就是第三位天使，跟著他們大聲說：「如果有人膜拜那獸和獸像，並在自己額上或手上接受印記，

在她的額上寫著一個奧祕的名號：「大巴比倫，地上的淫婦們和可憎之物的母親。」

他們將要看到他的面容，而他的名字將要寫在他們的額上。

那得勝的，我將要讓他在我神的聖所中做柱石，他絕不再出去。我要把我神的名，我神之城的名——就是從我的神那裡、從天上降下來的新耶路撒冷的名，和我的新名，都寫在他身上。
