牠又被准許把氣息給那獸像，甚至使那獸像能說話，又使所有不膜拜那獸像的人都被殺死。

俾有神憑海獸之像、而作人言、令殺不拜獸像者、

並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、

復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it.

And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain.

He was then permitted to give life to this statue so that it could speak. Then the statue of the beast commanded that anyone refusing to worship it must die.

但那獸被抓了；那假先知也與牠一起被抓了——他在獸面前行了許多奇蹟，藉此迷惑那些接受獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人。獸和那假先知兩個都活生生地被丟進燃燒著硫磺的火湖裡。

隨後，我看見一些座位，上面坐著人；這些人被賜予了審判的權柄。我又看見那些為耶穌做見證並為神的話語被斬首之人的靈魂，他們沒有膜拜那獸或獸像，也沒有在自己額上或手上接受那印記。他們都活了過來，並且與基督一同做王一千年。

第一位天使離去，把他的碗倒在地上，就有又惡又毒的瘡，長在那些帶有獸的印記並膜拜獸像的人身上。

藉著那些奇蹟，就是牠被准許在第一隻獸面前所行的奇蹟，牠就迷惑了住在地上的人，告訴住在地上的人，要為那受刀傷卻活過來的獸，造一個像。

隨後，我看見那女人喝醉了聖徒們的血，以及為耶穌做見證之人的血。我看到她就大大驚奇。

於是，行政官、總長、省長、參謀、司庫官、司法官、審判官和各省所有的官員，都被招聚來參加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉獻禮；他們站在尼布甲尼撒所立之像的前面。那時，傳令官大聲宣告：「各民族、各國家、各語言群體，以下是給你們的命令：你們一聽見號角、豎笛、里拉琴、弦琴、豎琴、風笛和各種樂器的聲音，就要向尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像俯伏膜拜；誰不俯伏膜拜，誰就立刻被扔進烈火燃燒的窯中。」

因為神把意念放在他們心中，要他們實現他的目的，要他們行事目的一致，並把十隻角的王權交給那獸，直到神的話語成就。

他必說話敵對至高者，折磨至高者的聖徒們，又企圖更改所定的時候和法令；聖徒們將被交在他的手中一期、二期、半期。

折磨他們時的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些膜拜獸和獸像的，以及任何接受牠名字印記的，都將日夜得不到安息。

上天哪、聖徒們、使徒們、先知們哪，你們應當因她歡喜！因為神已經向她施行審判，為你們懲罰她！」

另一位天使，就是第三位天使，跟著他們大聲說：「如果有人膜拜那獸和獸像，並在自己額上或手上接受印記，

而且先知們、聖徒們以及地上一切被殺之人的血，在你那裡都被發現了。」

耶和華神用地上的塵土塑造人，把生命的氣息吹進他的鼻孔裡，那人就成了有生命的人。

我也很想知道有關牠頭上的十隻犄角和那另長出的犄角的真義——在這犄角面前有三隻犄角倒下了；這犄角有眼睛，有說大話的口，牠的樣子比牠的同類更大。

它們有嘴卻不能說，有眼卻不能看；

它們有嘴卻不能說，有眼卻不能看；有耳卻不能聽，口中也沒有氣息；

接著，我聽見那位統管眾水的天使說：「今在、昔在的聖者啊，你是公義的，因為你判定了這些事，

要知道，就像身體沒有靈魂是死的，照樣，信仰沒有行為也是死的。

他們將要與羔羊交戰，而羔羊將勝過他們，因為他是萬主之主，萬王之王；與羔羊在一起的，是那些蒙召喚的、蒙揀選的、忠心的人。」
