The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

我又看见一些宝座，有人坐在上面，他们得了审判的权柄。我也看见那些因为替耶稣作见证，并且因为神的道而被斩首的人的灵魂。他们没有拜过兽或兽像，也没有在额上或手上受过兽的记号。他们都复活了，与基督一同作王一千年。

第一位天使去了，把碗倒在地上，就有恶性的毒疮，生在那些有兽的记号和拜兽像的人身上。

它得了能力，在头一只兽面前能行奇事，迷惑了住在地上的人，吩咐住在地上的人，要为那受过刀伤而还活着的兽做个像。

我又看见那妇人喝圣徒的血，和那为耶稣作见证的人的血，喝醉了。我看见了她，就大大惊奇。

于是总督、总监、省长、参谋、财政大臣、法官、裁判官和省内所有其他的官员，都聚集起来，参加尼布甲尼撒王为所立的像举行的揭幕典礼；他们都站在尼布甲尼撒所立的像前。那时，传令官大声呼叫说：“各国、各族、说各种语言的人哪！这是传给你们的命令：你们一听见角、笛、琵琶、弦琴、竖琴、风笛和各种乐器的声音，就要俯伏，向尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像下拜。凡不俯伏下拜的，就必立刻扔在烈火的窑中。”

神要众王行他的旨意，就把意念放在他们心中，叫他们同心把自己的国献给那兽，直到神的话都实现为止。

他必说话，敌挡至高者；他必折磨至高者的圣民，又想改变节期和律法；圣民必交在他的手中，一载、二载、半载（“一载、二载、半载”或译：“一个时期、多个时期、半个时期”）。

他们受痛苦的烟往上冒，直到永永远远。那些拜兽和兽像的，以及接受它名字的记号的人，日夜得不到安息。”

天哪，你要因她欢喜！众圣徒、众使徒、众先知啊，你们也要因她欢喜！因为神已经在她身上为你们伸了冤。”

又有第三位天使接着他们大声说：“如果有人拜兽和兽像，又在自己的额上或手上受了记号，

先知、圣徒和地上一切被杀的人的血，都在这城里找到了！”

它们像瓜田里的稻草人，不能说话；它们必须要人抬着走，因为它们不能走路。你们不要害怕它们，因它们不能降祸，也不能降福。”

耶和华神用地上的尘土造成人形，把生命之气吹进他的鼻孔里，那人就成了有生命的活人，名叫亚当。

人人都是顽梗无知；所有的金匠都因偶像羞愧，因为他们铸造的像都是虚假、没有气息的。

我又想知道有关它头上的十角，和那另长出来的小角，以及那三个在这小角前面倒下的角的实情。这小角有眼，有说夸大话的嘴；它的形状比它的同类更威猛。

人人都是顽梗无知；所有的金匠都因偶像羞愧，因为他们铸造的像都是虚假，没有气息。

它们有口，却不能说话；有眼，却不能看；

有口却不能说话，有眼却不能看，有耳却不能听，口中也没有气息。

我听见掌管众水的天使说：“今在昔在的圣者啊！你这样审判是公义的，

身体没有灵魂是死的，照样，信心没有行为也是死的。

你这对木头说“起来”，对哑石说“醒吧”的人，有祸了！它怎能教导你呢？看哪！它包金镶银，里面却全无气息。

他们要跟羊羔作战，羊羔必胜过他们，因为他是万主之主，万王之王。那些与羊羔同在、蒙召、被选、有忠心的，也必胜过他们。”
