俾有神憑海獸之像、而作人言、令殺不拜獸像者、

並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、

復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it.

後來，怪獸被俘虜了，在怪獸面前行奇蹟的假先知也一同被擒了。這假先知曾用奇蹟欺騙那些蓋了獸印、敬拜獸像的人。他和怪獸一同被活活地扔進硫磺火湖裡。

我看見許多寶座，上面坐著的人得到了審判的權柄。他們是為基督做見證、為了上帝的道而被斬首之人的靈魂。他們沒有拜獸和獸像，額上或手上也沒有蓋獸印。他們都一同復活，與基督同掌王權一千年。

第一位天使離去，將碗倒在了地上，那些有怪獸的印記、敬拜獸像的人身上長出奇痛無比的毒瘡。

牠在頭一隻怪獸面前獲准行奇蹟，欺騙了普世的人，並吩咐他們為受了刀傷卻仍然活著的頭一隻怪獸塑像。

我又見她醉了，因她喝了眾聖徒的血，就是為耶穌做見證之人的血。我看見她，非常驚奇。

於是總督、行政官、省長、謀士、庫房官、審判官、司法官及各省的官員齊來參加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉獻禮，站在那像面前。傳令官大聲宣佈說：「各族、各邦、各語種的人啊，王有令，『你們一聽見角、笛、弦琴、豎琴、瑟、笙等各種樂器奏響，就要叩拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。不叩拜的人必立刻被拋進烈焰熊熊的火窯。』」

因為上帝使眾王定意這樣做，好完成祂的旨意。他們便同心將政權交給那怪獸，直到上帝的話得到實現。

他必褻瀆至高者，迫害至高者的聖民，試圖改變節期和律法。聖民將被交在他手中三年半。

他們受煎熬所發出的煙不斷上升，永無休止。那些拜獸、獸像和接受了獸名印記的人晝夜不得安寧。」

上天啊，眾聖徒、眾使徒和眾先知啊，為她的下場歡樂吧！因為上帝已經向她施行報應，為你們伸冤了。」

之後，第三位天使高喊：「一切敬拜怪獸和牠的像、在手或額上接受獸印的，

你的城牆內流滿了眾先知、眾聖徒和地上一切被殺之人的血。」

它們像瓜園中的稻草人，不能說話，不能行走，需要人搬運。你們不要怕它們，它們既不能害人，也不能助人。」

耶和華上帝用地上的塵土造了人，把生命的氣息吹進他的鼻孔裡，他就成了有生命的人。

人人愚昧無知，工匠都因自己鑄造的偶像而慚愧，因為這些神像全是假的，沒有氣息。

我也想知道有關牠頭上的十角及後來長出的小角的事。這小角取代了三角，它有眼和說狂言的口，比其他的角更強大。

世人都愚昧無知，工匠都因所製的偶像而羞愧，因為神像沒有生命氣息，是虛假的，

它們有口不能言，有眼不能看，

它們有口不能說，有眼不能看，有耳不能聽，口中毫無氣息。

我聽見掌管各水源的天使說：「昔在今在的聖者啊！你是公義的，因為你施行了審判。

身體沒有靈魂是死的，同樣，信心沒有行為也是死的。

對木頭說『醒醒吧』，對啞巴石頭說『起來吧』的人啊，你們有禍了！它們能教導你們嗎？看啊，它們外面包金裹銀，裡面卻毫無生命。

他們將與羔羊交戰，但羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主，萬王之王。那些跟隨羔羊的是被呼召、蒙揀選、忠心耿耿的人。」
