該被擄的人必被擄，該被刀殺的必被刀殺。因此，聖徒需要堅忍和信心。

掳掠人的，必被掳掠；用刀杀人的，必被刀杀。圣徒的忍耐和信心就是在此。

凡擄人者亦見擄、以刃殺人者亦被刃殺、聖徒之恆忍與信在此矣、○

引人入甕者終必自入甕中；殺人以刀者、終必自傷刀下。諸聖之恆忍堅信、於是乎存。

“ If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.

“ Everyone who is supposed to be captured will be captured. Everyone who is supposed to be killed by a sword will be killed by a sword.”( Jeremiah 15:2) So God’s people must be patient and faithful.

If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

Anyone who is destined for prison will be taken to prison. Anyone destined to die by the sword will die by the sword. This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful.

If anyone is to be taken captive, into captivity he goes. If anyone is to be killed with a sword, with a sword he will be killed. This calls for endurance and faithfulness from the saints.

如果他們問你，『我們該去哪裡，』你就告訴他們，耶和華這樣說，『該死的死，該被殺的被殺，該遭饑荒的遭饑荒，該被擄的被擄。』

你們這些毀滅別人、自己還未被毀滅的人有禍了！等你們毀滅完了，就毀滅你們。你們這些欺詐別人、自己還未被欺詐的人有禍了！等你們欺詐完了，就欺詐你們。

因為你遵守我有關堅忍的教導，所以當將來的試煉臨到全人類的時候，我必使你免受磨難。

弟兄姊妹，你們要一直忍耐到主來。你們看農夫怎樣耐心等候地裡寶貴的出產，等候秋雨和春雨的降臨。同樣，你們也要忍耐，心志堅定，因為主快來了。

耶穌對他說：「收刀入鞘吧！因為動刀的必死在刀下。

你們只要堅忍到底，必能保全自己的靈魂。

但持守上帝誡命和耶穌真道的聖徒們需要堅忍。

這樣，你們就不致懶散，可以效法那些憑信心和忍耐承受應許的人。

凡是殺人害命的，無論人或獸，我必向他們追討血債。凡殺人的，我必追討他的血債。凡殺害人的，也必被人殺害，因為人是上帝照著自己的形像造的。

『我知道你的行為、勞碌和堅忍，也知道你嫉惡如仇，曾查驗出那些假冒的使徒，揭穿他們的虛假。

你們需要堅忍到底，這樣你們遵行了上帝的旨意後，便可以得到祂的應許。因爲「將要來臨的那位很快要來了，絕不遲延。

他要前來攻打埃及，叫那些該死的死、該被擄的被擄、該被殺的被殺。

因此，默然等候耶和華的拯救是美好的。

耶穌講了一個比喻來教導門徒要常常禱告，不要灰心。祂說：「某城有一位既不敬畏上帝也不尊重人的審判官。那城裡有一位寡婦常常來哀求這位審判官，說，『求你為我伸冤，懲辦我的對頭。』審判官總是充耳不聞，但後來心裡想，『雖然我不怕上帝，也不在乎人，可是這寡婦一直來煩我，還是替她伸冤好了，免得她再來煩我！』」主接著說：「你們聽，這不義的審判官尚且這麼說，難道上帝聽到祂揀選的人晝夜呼求，不替他們伸冤嗎？難道祂會一直耽延不理嗎？我告訴你們，祂必很快為他們伸冤。不過當人子來的時候，在世上找得到有信心的人嗎？」

『我知道你的行為、愛心、信心、事奉、堅忍，也知道你末後所做的善事比起初更多。

我約翰是你們的弟兄，在耶穌裡和你們患難與共、同享國度、一起忍耐。我因傳揚上帝的道、為主耶穌做見證而到了拔摩海島上。

由於他們流了眾聖徒和先知們的血，現在你使他們喝血，這正是他們應得的報應。」

我的弟兄姊妹，當你們遭遇各種磨煉的時候，都要認為是喜樂的事。要知道你們的信心經過考驗會產生堅忍。你們要堅忍到底，使你們纯全、完備、毫無缺欠。

因此，要回想你以前所領受、所聽見的教導，遵守這些教導，並且悔改。你若不警醒，我必在你意想不到的時候像賊一樣忽然來到。

這啟示實現的日期還沒到，它是關於末後的事，沒有虛假。即使緩慢，也要等候，因為這事終必發生，不再遲延。

看啊，耶和華要走出祂的居所，懲罰世上犯罪的人。大地必不再隱藏被殺之人的屍首，必將所流的血顯露出來。

各國必幫助他們重返故鄉。在耶和華賜給他們的土地上，外族人必做他們的僕婢。他們必擄掠以前擄掠他們的人，統治以前壓制他們的人。

你們要思想忍受罪人如此頂撞的主，免得疲倦灰心。其實你們與罪惡搏鬥，還沒有抵擋到流血的地步。

願上帝以祂榮耀的權能使你們剛強，無論遇到什麼事都能長久忍耐，

因為你們怎樣論斷別人，也必照樣被論斷；你們用什麼尺度衡量別人，也要用什麼尺度衡量你們。

倘若孕婦身體其他部位也受了傷，傷人者就要以命償命，以眼還眼，以牙還牙，以手還手，以腳還腳，以燒傷還燒傷，以創傷還創傷，以毆打還毆打。
