The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they will receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.

So the great dragon was thrown out— the ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the one who deceives the whole world. He was thrown to earth, and his angels with him.

The ten horns you saw, and the beast, will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, devour her flesh, and burn her up with fire.

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.

Its tail swept away a third of the stars in heaven and hurled them to the earth. And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth it might devour her child.

Then the angel said to me,“ Why are you astonished? I will explain to you the mystery of the woman and of the beast, with the seven heads and the ten horns, that carries her.

Then I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming from the dragon’s mouth, from the beast’s mouth, and from the mouth of the false prophet.

I also wanted to know about the ten horns on its head and about the other horn that came up, before which three fell— the horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke arrogantly, and that looked bigger than the others.

The ten horns are ten kings who will rise from this kingdom. Another king, different from the previous ones, will rise after them and subdue three kings.

On that day the LORD with his relentless, large, strong sword will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent— Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.

Wake up, wake up! Arm of the LORD, clothe yourself with strength. Wake up as in days past, as in generations long ago. Wasn’t it you who hacked Rahab to pieces, who pierced the sea monster?

His eyes were like a fiery flame, and many crowns were on his head. He had a name written that no one knows except himself.

Then he carried me away in the Spirit to a wilderness. I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns.The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, jewels, and pearls. She had a golden cup in her hand filled with everything detestable and with the impurities of her prostitution.

So the dragon was furious with the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring— those who keep the commands of God and hold firmly to the testimony about Jesus.The dragon stood on the sand of the sea.And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea. It had ten horns and seven heads. On its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads were blasphemous names.The beast I saw was like a leopard, its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.One of its heads appeared to be fatally wounded, but its fatal wound was healed. The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast.They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying,“ Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against it?”

This calls for a mind that has wisdom.“ The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman is seated. They are also seven kings:Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come, and when he comes, he must remain for only a little while.

The head is the elder, the honored one; the tail is the prophet, the one teaching lies.

“ After this, while I was watching in the night visions, suddenly a fourth beast appeared, frightening and dreadful, and incredibly strong, with large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed, and it trampled with its feet whatever was left. It was different from all the beasts before it, and it had ten horns.“ While I was considering the horns, suddenly another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. And suddenly in this horn there were eyes like the eyes of a human and a mouth that was speaking arrogantly.

and that the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly fired clay— part of the kingdom will be strong, and part will be brittle.
