但持守上帝诫命和耶稣真道的圣徒们需要坚忍。

当他们做完见证以后，从无底坑上来的兽要和他们交战，并战胜他们，把他们杀掉。

羔羊揭开第五印的时候，我看到一个祭坛，祭坛下有许多灵魂，都是为传扬上帝的道、为祂做见证而被杀的。

约翰便为自己所看见的一切——上帝的道和耶稣基督做见证。

它又获准去攻打圣徒，征服他们，并得到权柄制服各民族、各部落、各语言族群、各国家。

我俯伏在他脚前要拜他，他却说：“千万不可！我和你并那些为耶稣做见证的弟兄姊妹同是上帝的奴仆。你要敬拜上帝，因为预言的真谛就是为耶稣做见证。”

弟兄们是靠着羔羊的血和自己所见证的道战胜了它，他们甘愿牺牲，视死如归。因此，诸天和其中的居民都要欢欣雀跃！但大地和海洋有祸了，因为魔鬼知道它的时日不多了，就怒气冲冲地下到你们那里。”

“那位侍立一旁的说，‘第四只兽是指世上将兴起的第四个国，与其他各国不同，它将吞吃、践踏、咬碎天下。十角是指这国中将兴起十个王，后来又兴起一王，与先前的王不同，他将制服三个王。他必亵渎至高者，迫害至高者的圣民，试图改变节期和律法。圣民将被交在他手中三年半。然而，审判者将坐下来审判，夺去并永远废除他的权柄。

我看见许多宝座，上面坐着的人得到了审判的权柄。他们是为基督做见证、为了上帝的道而被斩首之人的灵魂。他们没有拜兽和兽像，额上或手上也没有盖兽印。他们都一同复活，与基督同掌王权一千年。

我们若遵行上帝的命令，就知道自己认识祂。

弟兄姊妹，我当初到你们那里传扬上帝的奥秘，并没有用高深的言论或哲理。

你们是出于你们的父魔鬼，你们乐意顺着它的私欲行。魔鬼从起初就是个杀人凶手，从不站在真理这一边，因为它心里根本没有真理。撒谎是它的本性，因为它是撒谎者，又是撒谎者的始祖。

当我们爱上帝，遵行祂的命令时，便知道自己也爱祂的儿女。

我约翰是你们的弟兄，在耶稣里和你们患难与共、同享国度、一起忍耐。我因传扬上帝的道、为主耶稣做见证而到了拔摩海岛上。

你们务要谨慎，警醒，因为你们的仇敌魔鬼好像咆哮的狮子四处游走，寻找可以吞吃的猎物。

他们将与羔羊交战，但羔羊必胜过他们，因为羔羊是万主之主，万王之王。那些跟随羔羊的是被呼召、蒙拣选、忠心耿耿的人。”

我又见她醉了，因她喝了众圣徒的血，就是为耶稣做见证之人的血。我看见她，非常惊奇。

它会再度欺骗天下各国，就是歌革和玛各，叫他们召集军队准备打仗，军队的数目多如海沙。他们倾巢而出，布满大地，将圣徒的阵营和上帝所爱的城团团围住。那时烈火从天而降，烧灭了他们。

那些洗净自己衣裳的人有福了！他们有权吃生命树的果子，也可以从城门进入城中。

我看见那怪兽、地上的众王及其军队聚集起来，要与白马骑士和祂的军队作战。

上天啊，众圣徒、众使徒和众先知啊，为她的下场欢乐吧！因为上帝已经向她施行报应，为你们申冤了。”

“北方王必任意妄为，自高自大，自以为超越一切神明，肆意诋毁万神之神。他必亨通，一直到上帝发烈怒的日子结束。因为所定的必然成就。

教导他们遵守我吩咐你们的一切。记住，我必常与你们同在，一直到世界的末了。”
