可是三天半之後，有從神而來的生命氣息進入他們裡面，他們就站立起來了。於是強烈的恐懼臨到那些觀看他們的人。

然後他們對我說：「你必須指著許多民族、國家、語言群體和君王再說預言。」

天使又對我說：「你所看見的眾水，那淫婦所坐的地方，就是許多民族、人群、國家和語言群體。

不過要排除聖所外面的院子，不要測量它，因為那裡已經給了外邦人。外邦人將要踐踏聖城四十二個月。我將賜能力給我的兩個見證人，他們將披著麻衣，做先知傳道一千二百六十天。」

牠被准許與聖徒們作戰，並勝過他們；牠還被賜予了權柄統管各支派、各民族、各語言群體、各國家。

如果有人生了一百個孩子，也活了許多歲月，雖然他的年日長久，心裡卻不因福份而滿足，甚至自己得不到安葬，我就說：「流產的胎兒倒比他好！」

禍哉！你這未遭毀滅的毀滅者，未遭背信之事的背信者！你行完了毀滅，自己必遭毀滅；你做盡了背信之事，自己必遭背信之事。

因為，你們用什麼標準來評斷，也會同樣地被評斷；你們用什麼量器來衡量，也會同樣地被衡量。

他一接到書卷，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，他們各拿著一把豎琴和盛滿香的金碗；這些香就是聖徒們的禱告。

隨後，我看見一位天使站在太陽中，對所有在空中飛翔的鳥大聲呼喊說：「來吧，聚集起來赴神的大宴席，為要吃君王的肉、軍官的肉、壯士的肉、馬和騎士的肉，以及各種人的肉，包括自由人和奴隸，卑微人和尊貴人的肉。」
