予在地上、已歸榮於父、父所委予之使命、已告圓滿；

吾又見婦人已因暢飲眾聖及諸為耶穌致命者之血、而酩酊矣。吾對之不勝驚訝駭異之至。天神語予曰：胡驚異為？吾欲告爾以此婦及其所乘七首十角之獸之秘密。爾適所見之獸、一現即逝、又將起自深淵、終必淪胥以亡。舉世之人、凡其名自創世以來、未見錄於生命冊者、以其獸之一現即逝、而復勃興。咸將見而歎服。

吾當遣派二證者、披麻而預言、凡一千二百又六十日。」

又令人民無貴賤貧富主僕、悉受印誌、或在右手或在額上。凡未印有獸名、或獸名之數者、均不得從事貿易。

無何、又見一獸出自地下、有二角如羊、而出言如龍；

爾時吾見一獸自海中出、十角七首、上有十冕、首上僭號無數。此獸望之若豹、其足若熊、其口若獅；龍以己之權位威力授之。吾見其一首似已中傷瀕死、後竟醫治獲愈；普世奇之、翕然風從。人見龍之以權授獸、故拜龍兼拜獸曰：「猗歟盛哉、獸之為德！舉世無雙、天下無敵！」

乃見上述之獸、及世上諸王、率兵而集、欲與騎白馬者及其所率之軍作戰；獸及偽先知同被擒。偽先知者、即當日行異蹟於獸前以熒惑受獸印拜獸像之群眾者也。二者俱被執而生投於硫火池中。

予之奮鬥、不為徒勞；予之行程、已告完成；予亦何幸而得篤守信德、舍命不渝。

然吾於生命置之度外、無所顧惜。但望能完成吾之行程、及所受於主耶穌之使命、以證天主恩寵之福音而已。

角五鳴、見一天星降地、受無底深壑之管籥；既啟壑騰煙如洪爐、上蔽日光、穹蒼晦冥；

耶穌既嘗醯、乃曰：『成矣！』遂俯首而逝
