1 Kings 17 1
And Elijah the Tishbite,[ who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab,[ As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these[ are] the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness.

Exodus 7:17-25
Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I[ am] the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that[ is] in mine hand upon the waters which[ are] in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. And the fish that[ is] in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river. And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and[ that] there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in[ vessels of] wood, and in[ vessels of] stone. And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that[ were] in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that[ were] in the river were turned to blood. And the fish that[ was] in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt. And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said. And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also. And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river. And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.

James 5:16-18
Confess[ your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

Psalms 105:26-36
He sent Moses his servant;[ and] Aaron whom he had chosen. They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings. He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies,[ and] lice in all their coasts. He gave them hail for rain,[ and] flaming fire in their land.He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts. He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground. He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

Ezekiel 7:1-12
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land. Now[ is] the end[ come] upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD.Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come. The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble[ is] near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations. And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations[ that] are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I[ am] the LORD that smiteth.Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them[ shall remain], nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither[ shall there be] wailing for them. The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath[ is] upon all the multitude thereof.
