Have you entered the place where the snow is stored? Or have you seen the storehouses of hail,which I hold in reserve for times of trouble, for the day of warfare and battle?

As they fled before Israel, the LORD threw large hailstones on them from the sky along the descent of Beth-horon all the way to Azekah, and they died. More of them died from the hail than the Israelites killed with the sword.

At that moment a violent earthquake took place, a tenth of the city fell, and seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake. The survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Lightning struck the land, and the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt.The hail, with lightning flashing through it, was so severe that nothing like it had occurred in the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.Throughout the land of Egypt, the hail struck down everything in the field, both people and animals. The hail beat down every plant of the field and shattered every tree in the field.The only place it didn’t hail was in the land of Goshen, where the Israelites were.Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron.“ I have sinned this time,” he said to them.“ The LORD is the righteous one, and I and my people are the guilty ones.Make an appeal to the LORD. There has been enough of God’s thunder and hail. I will let you go; you don’t need to stay any longer.”Moses said to him,“ When I have left the city, I will spread out my hands to the LORD. The thunder will cease, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know the earth belongs to the LORD.

The first angel blew his trumpet, and hail and fire, mixed with blood, were hurled to the earth. So a third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
