It is time to destroy all who have caused destruction on the earth.”

And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.

If anyone is destined for captivity, to captivity he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the perseverance and the faith of the saints.

and they cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ How long, O Lord, holy and true, will You refrain from judging and avenging our blood on those who live on the earth?”And a white robe was given to each of them; and they were told that they were to rest for a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers and sisters who were to be killed even as they had been, was completed also.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him.

And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.

He will bless those who fear the Lord, The small together with the great.May the Lord increase you, You and your children.

“ Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to reward each one as his work deserves.

Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in this same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Why are the nations restless And the peoples plotting in vain?The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers conspire together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying,“ Let’s tear their shackles apart And throw their ropes away from us!”

“ I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire.A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were serving Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court convened, And the books were opened.

choosing rather to endure ill treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the temporary pleasures of sin,considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward.

The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.

Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying,

Although a sinner does evil a hundred times and may lengthen his life, still I know that it will go well for those who fear God, who fear Him openly.

Who is this who comes from Edom, With garments of glowing colors from Bozrah, This One who is majestic in His apparel, Marching in the greatness of His strength?“ It is I, the One who speaks in righteousness, mighty to save.”Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the wine press?“ I have trodden the wine trough alone, And from the peoples there was no one with Me. I also trod them in My anger And trampled them in My wrath; And their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, And I stained all My clothes.For the day of vengeance was in My heart, And My year of redemption has come.I looked, but there was no one to help, And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold; So My own arm brought salvation to Me, And My wrath upheld Me.I trampled down the peoples in My anger And made them drunk with My wrath, And I poured out their lifeblood on the earth.”

Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their foreheads and on their hands; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.

Certainly His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land.

This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you indeed are suffering.For after all it is only right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,and to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us, when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels

he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.

Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels who had seven plagues, which are the last, because in them the wrath of God is finished.

“ As in the days when you went out from the land of Egypt, I will show you miracles.”Nations will see and be ashamed Of all their might. They will put their hand on their mouth, Their ears will be deaf.They will lick up dust like a snake, Like reptiles of the earth. They will come trembling out of their fortresses; To the Lord our God they will come in trepidation, And they will be afraid of You.

Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for holy war; stir up the warriors! Have all the soldiers come forward, have them come up!Beat your plowshares into swords, And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak man say,“ I am a warrior.”Hurry and come, all you surrounding nations, And gather yourselves there. Bring down, Lord, Your warriors.Let the nations be awakened And come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge All the surrounding nations.Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread the grapes, for the wine press is full; The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great.Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

Come near, you nations, to hear; and listen, you peoples! Let the earth and all it contains hear, and the world and all that springs from it.For the Lord’s anger is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies. He has utterly destroyed them, He has turned them over to slaughter.So their slain will be thrown out, And their corpses will give off their stench, And the mountains will be drenched with their blood.And all the heavenly lights will wear away, And the sky will be rolled up like a scroll; All its lights will also wither away As a leaf withers from the vine, Or as one withers from the fig tree.For My sword has drunk its fill in heaven; Behold it shall descend for judgment upon Edom, And upon the people whom I have designated for destruction.The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, It drips with fat, with the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the Lord has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom.Wild oxen will also fall with them And young bulls with strong ones; So their land will be soaked with blood, And their dust become greasy with fat.For the Lord has a day of vengeance, A year of retribution for the cause of Zion.Its streams will be turned into pitch, And its loose earth into brimstone, And its land will become burning pitch.It will not be extinguished night or day; Its smoke will go up forever. From generation to generation it will be desolate; None will pass through it forever and ever.

And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits.Come, my people, enter your rooms And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until indignation runs its course.For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their wrongdoing; And the earth will reveal her bloodshed And will no longer cover her slain.

The Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His faithfulness.

And His mercy is to generation after generation Toward those who fear Him.

And just as it is destined for people to die once, and after this comes judgment,

The Lord is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath.

But rumors from the East and from the North will terrify him, and he will go out with great wrath to eliminate and annihilate many.And he will pitch the tents of his royal pavilion between the seas and the beautiful Holy Mountain; yet he will come to his end, and no one will help him.“ Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued.And many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.

From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty.

And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who sat on the horse, and against His army.And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brimstone.And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.”And he* said to me,“ The waters which you saw where the prostitute sits are peoples and multitudes, and nations and languages.

saying,‘ Woe, woe, the great city, she who was clothed in fine linen and purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls;for in one hour such great wealth has been laid waste!’ And every shipmaster and every passenger and sailor, and all who make their living by the sea, stood at a distance,and were crying out as they saw the smoke of her burning, saying,‘ What city is like the great city?’And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying,‘ Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea became rich from her prosperity, for in one hour she has been laid waste!’Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, because God has pronounced judgment for you against her.”Then a strong angel picked up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying,“ So will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down with violence, and will never be found again.And the sound of harpists, musicians, flute players, and trumpeters will never be heard in you again; and no craftsman of any craft will ever be found in you again; and the sound of a mill will never be heard in you again;and the light of a lamp will never shine in you again; and the voice of the groom and bride will never be heard in you again; for your merchants were the powerful people of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your witchcraft.And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slaughtered on the earth.”

But the court will convene for judgment, and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated and destroyed forever.

Leave out the courtyard which is outside the temple and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations; and they will trample the holy city for forty two months.

Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels,“ Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and a harmful and painful sore afflicted the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.The second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living thing in the sea died.Then the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters; and they became blood.And I heard the angel of the waters saying,“ Righteous are You, the One who is and who was, O Holy One, because You judged these things;for they poured out the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.”And I heard the altar saying,“ Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given power to scorch people with fire.And the people were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain,and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the entire world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.(“ Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and people will not see his shame.”)And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har Magedon.Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying,“ It is done.”And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since mankind came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.And every island fled, and no mountains were found.And huge hailstones, weighing about a talent each,* came down from heaven upon people; and people blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the hailstone plague* was extremely severe.

Pay her back even as she has paid, and give back to her double according to her deeds; in the cup which she has mixed, mix twice as much for her.

And through his shrewdness He will make deceit a success by his influence; And he will make himself great in his own mind, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.

Then the kings of the earth and the eminent people, and the commanders and the wealthy and the strong, and every slave and free person hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;and they* said to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the sight of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;for the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be taken, the houses plundered, the women raped, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be eliminated from the city.Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as when He fights on a day of battle.

but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He announced to His servants the prophets.

And you will go up, you will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.”‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ It will come about on that day, that thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil plan,and you will say,‘ I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,to capture spoils and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the ruins that are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who live at the center of the world.’Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish with all its villages will say to you,‘ Have you come to capture spoils? Have you assembled your contingent to seize plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to capture great spoils?’ ” ’“ Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say to Gog,‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ On that day when My people Israel are living securely, will you not know it?You will come from your place out of the remote parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding horses, a large assembly and a mighty army;and you will come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. It shall come about in the last days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me when I show Myself holy through you before their eyes, Gog.”‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ Are you the one of whom I spoke in former days through My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them?It will come about on that day, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” declares the Lord God,“ that My fury will mount up in My anger.In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will certainly be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, all the crawling things that crawl on the earth, and all mankind who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; and the mountains will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.And I will call for a sword against him on all My mountains,” declares the Lord God.“ Every man’s sword will be against his brother.With plague and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and brimstone.So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.” ’

Those from the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.And those who live on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who live on the earth.
