Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.

Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ( by grace you have been saved),and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

“ Who are these who fly like a cloud, And like doves to their roosts?

She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne.

Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him,“ Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” So he answered,“ Yes, I know; keep silent!”

For you have said in your heart:‘ I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;

Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him.

Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Show me a sign for good, That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.

And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan.

The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked shall perish.

And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said,“ Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the Lord fights for them against the Egyptians.”

Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written:“ For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place?
