And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold,[ there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

Then we which are alive[ and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ,( by grace ye are saved;)And hath raised[ us] up together, and made[ us] sit together in heavenly[ places] in Christ Jesus:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew[ their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary;[ and] they shall walk, and not faint.

And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Who[ are] these[ that] fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and[ to] his throne.

And the sons of the prophets that[ were] at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know[ it]; hold ye your peace.

For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

Shew me a token for good; that they which hate me may see[ it], and be ashamed: because thou, LORD, hast holpen me, and comforted me.

And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.

The wicked shall see[ it], and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.

Who[ is] he that condemneth?[ It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?[ shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
